Fix one thing, a million other bugs pop up.

I do find the level up spam vaguely hilarious though.


Also it's good that they really balanced all of the weaponskills and stamina costs.

I've seen about 1000000000000000 people (ok, I exaggerate, and all over the internet, not on BG specifically) say that there is no reason to party for leves since you get better exp solo, and you know what, your right.

HOWEVER!

IF your not a selfish fuck, and have half a brain, you get yourself 3-4 buddies, get your leves one at a time, and profit.

You may only get 1/2 as much exp as soloing your leves, but you get to do FIVE TIMES AS MANY LEVES. In the long run, its much, much, MUCH better. It also means you can do all the leves on harder settings, which means the mobs take longer to kill, which means MORE skillups.

EDIT: Doing them in groups also means you can't fail due to DC/crash etc. AS long as one person has it active, you cna all rejoin and get the leve again from the aetheryte. Its win-win

Seriously, this is annoying me now. I need lots of fire crystals to make bronze nuggets and I am hardly getting any from fireflies. I had around a 30% drop rate before, now it's terrible. Anyone else seeing this?

Same problem here. Not to mention anything that cons green hits a lot harder than last phase AND respawn rates are a lot slower.

I'll get to the level cap playing in optimized parties in less than a month and laugh at all the people who're trying to solo but only reached the halfway mark four months later. If you want to solo so damn much that you'd actually try to solo to the level cap though then ffxiv definately isn't the game for you. Why can't people get that if a solo player can get what an optimized party can get then level up parties would be non existant?

I agree especially past lvl 0 area... ++ You get money for every Leves... I would suggest to everyone tooo pick up the LVL 10 BattleLeves before picking any other quest up. ~4k gil for them and you can only do 8 leves every 2 days(so far). My kingdom for a level 6 weapon...

Fire Crystal Drop rate is aweful... killed 100's of FireFlies with 3 Crystals dropping... /cry lvl 9-16.

I don't think they hit harder... I just think it's the level 1 weapons and gear we are all using. I can't kill the same mob I killed with my last toon because I could buy a level 11 weapon. I really miss my Brass Spear.

Poor timing really. Shits more broken in this build than any other I've played in. Theyre definitely making progress.. but this particular build seems like chaos.

yea that could be it. Just seems completely wrong to remove lv 11~ weapons from the vendor and not give a reasonable way to craft weapons due to lack of crystals. Between my lack of crystals, mining seeming to be broke on my character, and the -still- slow ass menu with buy/sell at npcs & synthing, I'm really not feeling playing around much until they throw out some more fixes. Sorry to sound like the beta forums, but I'm bored already .

Edit: Not to mention my random R0's now and having game errors logging back in for extended periods of time. I've been sitting at the log in screen for 20 minutes unable to get in.

They fixed quite a few things and just completely broke others. This in some ways is not better than Phase 2 or Alpha.

This is Wineport, just north of Bloodshore. I had to glitch the game to get through the gate. None of the NPCs say anything interesting, just talk about their wine.
