Feels like game needs extra dev time, another 3 months too late game incoming. Who knows though with all the content they're withholding.

Still waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early to tell. It won't dethrone WoW as someone said before, but I'm sure it will have a strong core following.
Moreover I'm somehow convinced that accuracy is somehow affected by durability. After a few fights I tend to start whiffing like Stevie Wonder with a blindfold no matter what I fight.
It's hard to tell atm due to how BORING the beta is with almost no content, so my opinion would be very inaccurate due to not testing full content. I think it will be pretty successful when it first releases though due to the upgraded graphics over ff11 and all the familiar things like mobs and races.
someone said that "Annexing the Valley" quest was bugged, but it's not.
the last mobs are in a cave
Got to 14 Thaumaturge, got Dark Seal. Increases the accuracy of your next spell. Sounds like a good help right? WRONG. I still can't reliably land a spell on a Blue Conned mob with it.
Did some leves today, got enough money to buy the level 25 Thaumaturge Staff. Can I land spells more than 20% of the time now? Hell no!
If there's anything they fix, it needs to be magic, durability, and skill points first. XD
Fuck conjurer. Its too random, and half the skill ups you get you don't even keep.
I counted my log. I cured this massive battle. Got roughly 1.4k skill ups during the fight.
At the end of it It registered me as having 600.
It then disconnected me.
Graphics and graphical effects mean absolutely jack shit in the long run, especially for MMOs. If they did matter all that much, no matter how people like rag on THAT game's look, then Age of Conan would have made off like a bandit due to the visuals. They're good for a "AHHHHHHH" factor for about half of an hour of playtime. You can have an engine that renders Blu-ray FMV esque graphics in realtime...but that won't matter if the actual game is dick to play.
But it will make boxes jump off shelves, and unless the boxes jump off shelves, the game dies.
Of course what will keep people in the game is the gameplay and community, that lesson has been demonstrated quite amply by such failures as SWG, AoC and AC2. But I believe S-E have quite enough cash and determination to not launch a failure. They are one of the few companies who can afford to say "when it's ready" (Valve and Blizzard being the others, IMO).
I still don't believe the launch date.
SWG had amazing gameplay and community, it failed and is a good example of what happens when the developers DONT listen to the community.
I think the game will be released on the release date, it's been in development for a long time, but we'll see. They still have two months, that's a lot of time now that the beta is 24/7.
Can anyone explain to me the requirements to start being able to do cedarwood guildeves? I cannot figure this out for the life of me
Are guildleves still 48 hours? Someone in my party mentioned it was reduced down to 2 hours.
ty
Was that 48 hour rate dropped some? Cause it hasn't been 48 hours since I took these quests yet I can trade them in now.
I think they dropped the time!
I just killed 10 Puks and didn't get a single point of Class XP. At first I thought it was just the bug where it didn't show Xp but you still got it, but after 10 mobs I'm still at 8826, am I missing something?
There is a bug/(anti-grind measure?) where you stay on long enough or in one place long enough and you get less and less skill points and eventually you stop getting any at all even though it says you gain weapon proficiency.
Sometimes switching weapons fixes it but the most reliable way is to relog which is a pain since it can happen pretty quickly.
