Speed Surge requires a Spear, says on the tooltip too but like most things right now it's cryptic and not obvious.

Ouch is it that gimped subbed? Mine is on a 50 sec timer and heals 123 atm as 19Pug

Edit: 60 Secs* Stupid super stamina glitch was messing up my timers too.

Yep it takes a small hit, and even on main the healing varies, before I restores 120-150 hp, then it dropped down to 91 now slowly climbing back up it's currently @105 HP.

as far as touch up goes, you will only get it on items that are equippable... it affects the quality rating of an item, and using it will produce stars in the quality section of equipment
be careful tho, touch up can easily use 50 durability in one shot

some thoughts on surplus... when i first saw surplus was when i was about 17.5 mining... i kept mining up to lvl 19, but before that my surplus ranked up to 18, when my normal rank was 19.something surplus disappeared and havent' seen it since and now almost 21 mining

today i was grinding on gld and went from about 17.5 to ~19.8 when i saw my first surplus on gld, kept going about halfway through 20 and still getting surplus so switched to lvl 1 lancer, and got to lvl 6 and no surplus
then switched to lvl 9 smithing and got it to almost 11 and no surplus

also seeing 0 change in physical xp except when i smacked a wharf rat as 20 gld and got like 50 physical and 4 sword xp (no surplus btw lol)
and i am physical lvl 30

not sure but it seems to be trending towards a kind of soft cap on skill xp in a certain amount of time - i don't plan to do any gld tonight so will see tomorrow if it is still giving me surplus

Hey, has anyone successfully soloed the goats? I imagine that isn't realistic until around the 20s.

I'm 21 rank Maurderer and 25 Physical atm and I'm wondering where is the best place to level at this point? I've been leveling on pyroflys in the caves near bloodshore getting 100-200 class exp per kill which seems rather low. Is there anything better at this point and beyond my level? Or are these the best?

as far as the other jobs such as Miner, Black smith, etc... do you just equip something to begin leveling those jobs?

btw i'm on Shadowlord, Tokay Nexon is my name
wondering where to quest now that my main class quest is complete.

Got Stygian Spikes @ 16 Thaumaturge, seem pretty amazing so far. Gulkeeva was getting 28 MP back everytime he got hit in combat.

Fought my first cactus in a party of 5. Just a note, 1000 needles does not distribute damage throughout the party lol.

like with other jobs you equip the weapon or tool required for the job,
if you want to be a miner, you need a pickaxe, you level by mining
if you want to be a smith, you need a blacksmith hammer, you level by smithing
