FFXIV Random Speculation/Question thread V: No one told me beta would have problems in it

Where do I get the missions after Treasures?

Anyone else noticed they added new monsters in Cassiopeia? A Yarzon Scavenger sneaked up on me and my group in the middle of a leve, killing two of us. I also saw Puks down there and I'm pretty sure there weren't any before.

edit: Also agreeing with the people above me, I got to 28 two days ago and I'm still only 2,5k into my level. It's ridiculous so I haven't been bothered getting any further.

I can't figure this out for the life of me, but how to you keep a retainer summoned while you go off to do other things or log off?

I liked beating those fireflies, the wings sell like 70g each... having like 10 stacks to sell was pretty good gold

randomly.. seems the "hidden' stuff classes get (traits I guess) get carried over that you can't see. I noticed I got counter attack from marauder on my pug

I thought I remembered seeing from a screen a month ago or so that traits were assignable like skills? Or did they take that out for the time being?

It may not even be a bug for all anyone knows. Also yeah grinding is about all you can do in a beta, it's not a content focus beta (atm) it's more of a stability focus.

Randomly.. the lv30 archer ability is zomg rape... over 1200 damage in 1 shot (on weak pharoflies anyway)

was watching him obliterate the stuff using lv1 bow n arrows haha

Yeah you can add traits but atm you don't see any. Think its just invisibly added O_o

I wouldn't pay more than 10g for a crystal myself. So if you want to sell them to me put em up for 9

Anyone have the problem where you engage, but it wont let you attack anything, nor will it let you disengage? I just lost out on a 3k leviquest cause of it, awesome.

I got it on the leve that gave a bit of gil and pink pants.

I'm still pissed. It sucks but it happens, think it happen sin an area flooded with people accessing the aetheryte.

Traits aren't implemented. The setup is there, they are in the dats, but we dont get them. There are still skills for the classes in the dats we aren't getting as well.

Lets not kid ourselves, SE are still keeping us all in the dark here.

Has anyone noticed if they get faction credits when doing someone else's leve?

Also, has anyone actually gotten a faction leve yet? lol

I'll try and check tonight re: other peoples leves.

I have more than 50 faction points for some factions and still no options, so either you need a ton of points (maybe 100-200?) or its just not there yet.
