Maybe they're like Galkas. They just reincarnate.
Or maybe the men and women are too similar to tell the difference.
Yeah, I really hated how Galka and Elvaan looked in XI too. Well, for Elvaan it was largely due to their shitty animations, I actually liked how Elvaan F looked.
Both look great in XIV. Lalafell made me doubt when seeing them in screenshots, but the way they're animated just makes it work. Had a male Lalafell emote /surprised and /panic in front of my anvil when I was smithing. Still makes you smile!
Crazy legs? It just looks like they're always ina dead sprint to me.
The pear shaped bodies of the lalas are win, it's true.
Pfft, childbirth is no excuse to not spear cute sheep things and crabs and stuff. REAL WOMEN FIGHT WHILE MAKING BABIES.
Another question. I know for instance the Marauder's Guild is in LL. Do Marauders need to visit there often? is it advantageous? Im wondering if the class you play would be a large factor in deciding which city you start in.
I seen no reason whatsoever to go to the Marauders Guild in Beta, I would assume in Retail there will be a use for the guilds.
What do you think will be the pros and cons of selectable world servers at launch?
It was mentioned before that a huge chunk of the JP community was picking 2 servers as "suggested" and it's not unlikely to see this happening for NA and EU community too.
Problem is I still can't decide if this will be good or bad, so what are you guys takes?
I'll probably just stay on Emperor since that's what I'm on in the Beta.
I think this was brought up before, but wouldn't it make more sense if guildleves were to give experience rewards? If the whole reason they implemented it was to make it so casual players could feel a sense of progression, why wouldn't they give experience? It seems logical that they could add that at launch. I think if they don't it will just turn into a grind fest all over again. That way they could keep the 8 leves/2 day limit so people couldn't abuse the system. If they don't add experience points as rewards, then leves shouldn't have a limit to how often you can do them.
Well they give cash the limits there to stop too much inflation but yeah I agree they really do need some kinda exp/skill reward aswell
we have to realize that content wise we are getting to see very little of what they have planned. Reading what the battlecraft leve npc is saying in game he mentions some leves having '"guild marks" as rewards, which are used to chose items from those organizations, or provide training in specific skills, they mention that some of these guild leves wont allow you to change jobs or you fail. im guessing that some of these types of leves, may give you skill bonuses, or maybe even be teh method for learning some abilities. they also are probably linked with the locations of the guilds in each town.
also the mere mention of a quest log implies maybe regular quests will be more than just main storyline only. we havent seen it all, and chances are this next build also wont show it all. My only probelm with that, is a lot of these things seems to have bugs they didnt find internally, sooo maybe they shoudl actually test them. then again they can do it on release if they are way faster than they are right now with patching stuff
