The music for this trailer is more than ancient.
I laughed out loud when I herd the crappy trailer music kick in. Its the Lords of Acid "Crablouse" song that was originally released in September 1994. I wouldn't laugh but that was the start of college for me and I had picked the white label up on vinyl some 4 months before the official release. I wonder why Synder approved that track for his brand spanking new trailer. LoA was a throw away band to begin with, but i can only think they are laughing all the way to the bank now. BTW the last movie that i know for sure used LoA music was Virtuosity! ROFL. gogo Russell Crow = uber bad guys and Denzel Washington needing to set him straight lol.

There was a LoA song in a great movie from 1995ish called Strange Days. The song was called ummm ... Strange Days. They are kinda old school techno, but I think their older stuff still holds up rather well. The Crablouse was a great song when I was like 15, and I still throw it on every once in a while. If you haven't heard of them, check them out. They are absolutely vile ... in a good way.

BTW if you haven't seen Strange Days ... pick it up. The chick that was getting railed by James Cameron directed it. She also went on to make a SUPREMELY overrated Hurt Locker. If you haven't seen The Hurt Locker ... I envy you.

I don't understand what the problem is with LoA. They are by no means the best techno band out there, but they aren't what I would call laughable. What would you consider good techno? If you don't mind me asking of course.

/laugh at all the LoA hate! Man, their music isnt god tier but they are fun to throw on, and there are a lot of people who have never heard them and get a kick out of their lyrics. They are playing here in ABQ on Friday the 13th, I was thinking about going, and because of the hate i'll be there for sure. Also you really need to be at a show to enjoy LoA, the shows are really entertaining.
