Personally, I felt it was a solid popcorn movie. It didn't have a particularly deep plot, just kind of an excuse to get good looking women in sexy outfits in fantasy settings. I doubt it was ever intended to be anything more than that. 6.5/10(thats above average for anyone that thinks 7/10 is a median).

It was fun. It definitely left an impression, which is very important for a film. If you like games and science fiction and guns, I'd go see it, but it's not something you should expect to be a good movie.

If you do want a good movie, Limitless and The Adjustment Bureau are both great.

Just saw this tonight, i expected something just horrifyingly awful. Literally the worst movie ever put together for people to just autopilot their brains and fap to when alone.

I was pleasantly surprised, im not sure what people coming away from this disappointed were expecting? the schindlers list of troubled girls in mini skirts? It is definitely worth a see and far more entertaining than other stuff out right now like paul or battle for LA. Yea the plot is secondary and by secondary i mean only there for the most basic of functions like using gum as tape for a broken remote. The action was his usual action if u like the action in 300 and watchmen then you will like the action in this it's as simple as that, just more varied and sexified.

It's seriously worth a view way more so than either 300 or watchmen deserved as both were still awful while having complete source material that only needed to be zack synder stylized essentially. Don't get me wrong though im not saying this is a good movie, but it is FARRRRRRRRRRR better than other stuff that has come out recently and actually entertains. *cough the eagle cough*

The pimp/house operator was hands down the best actor in that movie, it's not saying a lot but still it was really nice to see someone that actually knew how to act and i was happy to see him talk when onscreen instead of cringe, like during the end credits.
2 small things that i couldn't even ignore even while suspending all logic ;\
*why did the 2 nazi's fucking sit there and set up a machine gun while she walks up to them, this is what pistols are for.
*when they fought in the fantasy castle and the other fighters broke through the gate, why would they even fight them hell the girls did that armies job for them.

Also fuck you ending don't tack on a useless fucking monologue at the end when it would have been better to have said nothing

edit: also one of the covers was actually pretty cool. but some of the music ehhhhhhhhh still not quite as bad as hallelujah sex scene in watchmen

Went to see it this afternoon. Walked out halfway through. Dull, dull, dull. The action was boring. The fighting was atrocious. The plot was nonsensical. Don't waste your money.


(P.S. I usually love mindless, dumb action movies but this was just boring.)

Zack Snyder is great for visuals, but has a good deal to learn about story writing. The movie felt disjointed and I didn't connect with the characters at all. I had high hopes for it, but was let down. It wasn't "horrible", but wasn't the "holy shit a new favorite movie" like I was hoping. I'll probably buy it when it comes out on blueray, and I don't think it was a waste of money. It just had a lot of potential that was wasted on inconsistent story telling.

For the future sake of movies. Please never let Zack Snyder WRITE anything ever again. Sucker Punch was probably the worst movie I have ever watched. Or close to it. I've never left a theater mid movie, but this was the absolute closest I was to doing so. Don't waste your money, friends. TURRIBLE.

I too felt like I should walk out of it, but it's not something I can honestly do. I paid the money already, not like I can request it back. That said, I can understand why others would do so.

Dunno, the bunker scene video might keep me away, if that's what the action is like it won't be what I expected it to be Which makes me sad. Guess I'll wait for it to come out on DVD. And I hate that everything is coming out PG-13 now. Fuck, make some damn R movies so we can see some real fucking action. It's like when they made the first AVP movie PG-13. Retarded.

I enjoyed it, the story was weak but the action scenes in the IMAX were top notch. The soundtrack was probably the best thing about it to be honest.

I think the only ones saying that are the ones attempting to refute the people who seem to have gone in expecting way more than what it actually was. I mean fuck i love predator and im not saying its a fucking awesome movie that speaks to my soul or that mack is one of the greatest method actors of all time, no im giggling like a fucking child when arnold throws knives at people and says stick around. But really go in with the lowest of expectations which really can't be hard at this point and u might enjoy it or at least burst out laughing at a few parts i know everyone in my theater did when the mayor walked in. Not upset about spending 10 bucks on this at all, especially not when compared to the eagle which is a a genuinely horrible movie in every single regard and makes zack's dialogue seem like the dialogue from hunger with the prisoner/priest.

and hell some of the replies ive seen to this movie and complete lack of understanding in regards to a storyline as simple as this has opened my eyes as to how people can think inception is deep.

I'm fine with simple story lines. I'm even fine with silly plots. This movie didn't reach such lofty heights as a simple, silly plot. It was just completely terrible and nonsensical.

You'll also note I put plot as third on my list of things that were bad about this movie.

The action wasn't very good. The fight scenes were pretty to look at but exceedingly dull in the action. I was bored watching them, especially the dragon scene.

The only thing this movie had going for it was five pretty girls in really short skirts (well, 4, the one with the short hair wasn't that great looking).
