fucking awesome
Decent movie, but not one you'll want to watch if you have a throbbing migraine. =(
def enjoyed it, was pretty much what I expected it to be. Only thing that bothered me was the ending. Really wish they had done it differently. Still a fun flick to watch though.
Who, Rocket? I think she was a hell of a lot prettier than Babydoll. Emily Browning has a fucking horseface, and I don't see why people think she's hot. I don't care what pictures you cite. They're all photoshopped and she makeupped to high hell in this movie. .
I cite this picture.
Argument over.
Over.
ok so my only complaint:
Spoiler: show
I was actually a little disappointed with the action. Bullet-time is cool and all, but we don't need it for everything. I found, in certain scenes, it actually took away from the suspense.
Some things were cool. The original dream of a dream scene was cool, with the robot samurais. Bullet-time potato washing, not so much.
Well I've been sucker punched for 20 bux I've spent on this movie. Hot chicks was the only thing going for it.
Poor action, poor plot, poor character development, no humor. Had some interesting looking scenes but overall I think the ideas were just unpolished.
Best looking one was Sweet Pea. Then Jenna Malone. Them babydoll
Now I know that I'll enjoy the movie as my initial feelings were always based on the trailers and nothing about the story. This movie just looked like something that would fail story-wise and I have no problem with that. There have been worse movies.
The asian chick was hot imo
I liked it. Hell, even my gf thought this was an OK movie and she hates action movies. This chick thinks Taken was boring.
I really didn't care how they got to the fantasy sequences. I just enjoyed all the eye candy. That's how I viewed the plot. Snyder's primary goal was to show us some really cool action sequences. The plot only served as a device in which to exhibit those sequences. And for that I thank him.
I couldn't help thinking that Baby Doll was hacking into the Matrix whenever she went to her "fantasy within a fantasy?" world. Maybe this movie has less impact because we already saw The Matrix and all the knockoffs that followed? I did not see The Godfather series until about two years ago. By then I had already seen Goodfellas, The Sopranos and a million other mafia movies. When I saw The Godfather, I was all "meh" about it like it was a Goodfellas rip off. If this movie came out over 12 years ago we would think this was the most awesomest movie ever.
Spoiler: show
Taken was pretty boring (and terrible) in every scene that wasn't Liam Neeson killing/torturing people.
