I totally looked, even looked in the locked tea party thread, did not see this posted here already. Don't hate me if I missed it somehow.

I didn't even need to read the STORY to start cracking up, but the story made me laugh harder.

From a forum where the link to the story was discovered, a few comments:

This is true. At least, /b/ is unusable, some sub-boards are tolerable.
I was there back in 2004 (I remember when /g/ was /g/uro, earliest I can pin down), BG is the closest you are ever gonna get to old 4chan.

/hr/ is great for photophiles (when it's not being spammed by viruses lolz), /wg/ is awesome when you need some new wallpaper, and I have a secret place in my heart for /tg/

The rest is either porn or just generally whitenoise. /f/ gets some swf gold by its very nature but you have to be willing to sift through a lot of shit to get the good stuff.
