Assisted suicide and the like

As someone who has a disease that can and will cause them massive amounts of pain in the future I've already told my friends and family that if I get to a certain point I'd like their help to end it.

Some people are strong and can fight to the last min with that pain and others are not. The thought of what can happen with Cystic Fibrosis scares the shit out of me and I don't want to get to that point. I watched a childhood friend die at 17 like that and it's not right.

Offing myself before I get to the point of 100% bedrest, I'll accept life support long enough to say goodbye to everyone, if I ever get diagnosed with anything.

If it becomes a matter of intense old age, I'll fight to the last.
