AWWW YISSSS!!
Yes!!!!!!!!
In the mean time enjoy the parody if you haven't seen it already
God DAMN it, I JUST put these pants on...
pretty awesome trailer. I like how it gets you hyped without showing practically anything. Like, it doesn't give anything of the story away, instead of some shows/movies that show all the good parts.
Reminder Sherlock S4 airs tomorrow in UK 8:30pm BBC1
I assume my fellow US Neighbours can stream it on the BBC World channels or equivalent.
Folks in the US will be able to watch it on PBS or stream thru their website, but with the episode releasing in the UK in just a couple hours vs 9 PM EST for the US airing, I'm sure I'll be pulling a rip off the internet well before it officially airs here.
It starts!
Is it the whole season or just the first episode?
Whole season, so we'll get an ep next week and the week after as far as I know, unless they're staggering. Final season too I believe.
random trivia: watson and mary's actors are married in real life. Last month they announced their divorce
edit2: next week has an ep, confirmed, except it'll start 9pm instead of 8:30pm --- lots of mindscrew on the way, I'll wait til you guys start discussing before I go.
edit3: make sure to continue into post credits, not sure if streams/US Broadcast will advise you to
For folks in the US who don't want to wait, tonights episode out in the wilds of the internet.
idr, since they release the entire season so quickly have we usually gotten all the eps from the wilds of the internet in the first day or is it going to mirror the real releases?
It's still one episode per week, so whole season won't be out yet. PBS offers free streaming of it thru their website once it goes live on TV, but rather watch it now before SNF gets going.
Loved the first episode. Was there a post credits? My version cut right at the beginning of the credit.
If I wanted to just wait until all 3 aired and went on Netflix, how long a wait am I looking at?
According to The Stig there is, rip I was watching cut off too. Probably just catch it later after football.
And I dunno, I didn't enjoy this episode that much. Maybe after the events of this episode the show can actually be kinda get back to it's focus of being a detective show, and not James Bond lite.
Also - lol.

The post credits scene is only a couple of seconds, so not that huge miss or big deal, but it was a bit odd/shocking which further shrouds things in a bit of mystery.
Spoiler: show
Not sure if it's on Netflix, but the finale will air 15th Jan and that's the season and series wrapped up.

I enjoy the small tech upgrades our 2 main chars have... Sherlock has an iphone 6/plus at least and John has a Surface Pro 3/4!
edit: Plot discussion/question:
Spoiler: show
Watching it on pbs.org right now
a bit meh of an episode for what I expect of bbc's sherlock but w/e, was still a very fun ride
do we have to spoiler now that it's aired? I hope not
I feel like we're going to get a lot of sherlock dealing with his arrogance directly this season. John telling him to fk off and mary post-credits saying go to hell makes me think her message was essentially to save john by leaving him. And sherlock wont want to do that.. so we have conflict? Sounds boring, but this show's always been kind of awesome and hard to predict for me so I'm in on the sherlock train 100%
