    Time Warner Powerboost. Worth it?

    So I need to figure out a plan for internet+phone for my new place. Looking at the Time Warner bundles I see powerboost is 10bucks extra per month. A lot of the reviews though say it's not really worth it because it only effects certain downloads from certain sites. I was mainly looking at it, as I will be rooming with 2 other people, we all play online games so I thought perhaps it would assist in performance in that aspect. Not too knowledgeable on that aspect though so was looking for thoughts, opinions.

    Would have absolutely no effect on online gaming, and it's pretty much a waste of money.

    I like how the commercials are it are all about online play, when it does nothing for that

    Yup, it won't improve your latency, just extra bandwidth which does nothing for gaming unless you're running 40 torrents or something.
