I just tried doing Exploration: win 3 custom games against even matched AI. I played 3 quick games against medium AI and won all 3 and no achievement, anyone?

Need to start a custom game in multiplayer -->create custom. If you used the versus in the single players screen, it wont work

Secondly, go check your achievement progress to figure out if you're 0/3 or 2/3...sometime, a game wont register (bnet fail, your connection fail..etc).

There is some weird bug too. I've 25 win against insane computer, and 24 against very hard in coop. It makes no sense.

Don't move out until your army is about 3 pages full of units and nonstop pumping units with 1/1 upgrades.

I tried with with a small squad of like 20 units and would get rolled every time but once I made a TON of guys then it was no problem. Also lots of bunkers with SCV's repairing it makes brutal doable easily.

I actually did the four hatchery achievement with a smaller group after I realized that they rebuild them. My initial force was a little over 20 marines and a half dozen medics. I attacked the north base fairly early and took out the two hatcheries there.

I waited outside the base and tried to reinforce, but most of my marines died trying to get there. The second time I went into the base they had hardly any defense. Maybe two spine crawlers and three other units, so it was easy to kill the hatcheries again.

For defense, I walled off the right side with three or four bunkers and had a bunch of SCVs to repair them. The left side had the majority of my newly trained marines and a bunker or two. I built a few turrets to help with the mutalisks.

For the achievement on hard, just mass up a shit ton of units (Double or Triple Barracks and constantly pump). Once you get a giant bio-ball nothing can stop you. It's also not the end of the world if you lose your force, I took out the 3 on the left and got ballsy and charged to the other hatchery which promptly got all my forces murdered. Just rebuild your forces and go again.

For surviving on Brutal, salvage your bunkers at the start and retreat to the ramp that leads into your base, it is a 100x better choke. Build 5-6 bunkers, fill with marines, turrets all over the place (especially on your left and right sides), get 2-3 SCVs to repair bunkers, win! In the last minute you will start to get overwhelmed, I took every SCV off the line and they repaired like mad-men. Also I got double barracks and spammed Marines + Medics all game long so when they finally broke through my bunkers in the last 30 seconds they stood no chance.

Honestly I'm a little disappointed with Brutal. It's really god damn hard until you get Tech Reactors, Auto-Gas, Science Vessels, and Regening Bio Steal. After that its just like playing it on Hard. Then again I still need 5 more missions to finish, I'm expecting the final mission to actually be a bitch considering it was on hard.

Naw the final mission is a joke if you do the mass tank strategy + marine ball for Kerrigan. The really hard ones are the toss missions, and some of the earlier ones like Engine of Destruction if you don't have Banshee's by then. Like you said after you get tech reactors and Banshee's and Science Vessels everything else is cake.

Yeah engine of destruction was pretty annoying, mainly because Tychus is an idiot and would do random things. Also science vessels can't repair him enough so you basically have to all in with Banshees and Wraiths to try and kill everything before it kills him. Can be annoying though, one time he decided to skip the break between the first and second base and charged into the second base with like half health and all I had out was 4 banshees....

All the achievements that are story driven are easy to get if you click on anything that has a name on it after you complete a mission which means it has some new info.

Do that and you can get it easily but where specifically you need to it like after which mission I don't know.

No You wont get the achievement, I've completed all Missions and even got all research while i dc'd now i have replay game to get all research & mission completion achivement >.> Rage indeed hate how that system works you'd think they'd save your achivements onto your computer then update your achivements each time you log on in game but NOOOO >.>
