I just noticed my post got cut off lol. Well for the one with zerg/protoss rush:

For the zerg part, it is really easy. Just pull away marines that are about to die. For the protoss part, you have to be a dick. This is what I did:

Leave 1 SCV making minerals, 1 making barracks, and build SCVS. The rest of the SCVS need to kill their probes as soon as possible. One will be up there (easy to kill), the other will come up and start to build a gateway. What you have to do is have your probes stand on the gateway spot (so it doesnt build) then kill their probe.

I did this on first attempt got silver thow , second attempt i built barreks to block off them and supply, had marines fire from other side taking them out without dmg, then built a bunker field iit and was normal fighting from there on

You kinda have to be tactful with pulling mobs away and having SCVs help beat up the first few zealots. If you kill their shit early, it really limits how much they send at you so you just have to stall. Keep an eye on all your units and when one gets red/orange, pull it away so it wont die.

Advice on that Zeratul level where you have to go to the 4 spots? On Brutal. My defense gets raped by the zerg fliers, and the tons of shit they send at me. Original plan was to make a huge defense while building units but the only thing worth making is Stalkers since nothing else attacks air.

After building the pilons and probe. I took over the right expansion (on the cliff) with zeratul and both collosus, and did some cleaning north to free up the 2nd protoss building. At that point, I think you can make stalker and templar

For defense, I simply built 6 canon on both side, and sent zeratul/collosus to help them kill the nydus immediatly (bring back your army before the nydus spawn). For the top area, I brought the observer and blinked in and out with zeratul. Took me 2-3 reload, but you don't need to clear every zergs there, as long you have vision to blink back. For the final area, I sent all my units including probe to distract the and simply went for the beacon

The part with infested terran can be cleared easily with 2-3 collosus in their free time (between wave).

    [edit]

I dont remember air giving me issue really. I was locking down the few broodlord with zeratual and finished them with stalker, and the couple of muta around the map were shot down 6-7 stalkers, but most of the time, they can be ignored.

if you cheat in that level and know generally where the nydus worms spawn every wave, you can park zeratul around the location as the clock ticks down, and as the nydus pokes out, use the stun ability on the nydus to stop it from spewing out units and take it out with zeratul plus two or three stalkers, shutting down half of the units running towards your base

Managed to beat it by being cheap with Zeratul and just teleporting into base and booking it lol. I got the first two SE ones easy but for the top two I sent some forces in to distract and Zeratul just made a beeline for tele 1 (which heals fully) then running like hell with some back up to the last one.

Right now, I completely confused by the last mission in the Zeratul set. How the fuck are you supposed to kill 2500 monsters on brutal? D: I got raped on normal at like 1500 or so. There is just way way too much shit at once near the end.

Edit: The protoss levels are gay because you build so much shit for terran then they make you play protoss and it's like.. well ok. Also the mothership on 200 psi worth of units lags my PC like crap.

you will always have more minerals than you need to build your mass collosus, rays and carriers, so keep a couple of probes in front and keep walling in with gateways and cannons

forget about the gold expansion on brutal, it's not worth it to defend it

What I did was when the Carrier hero warped in I switched my tech straight to Carriers, eventually all of my ground forces died off (and I mean all). My base was completely over run but I still had 200/200 Carriers, the Mothership, and the Phoenix's. Then I proceeded to just run around killing the mass amounts of Zerglings that just sit in the mineral line because there is nothing on the ground to kill.

This is by far the hardest mission. Expect to restart a few time.

What you need to win is mass carriers (start upgrading them right away so they pop at 3/3) ..however, getting there is the hard part usually. There is a few different strategies, but it's always messy.

The most succesful one seem to involve making a DT wall , with mass phoenix to kill the overseer. They wont be able to get in your base this way since the dt wall block them off. You can toss psionic storm from behind to speed thing up

When i did it I went for the high yield mineral right away, and blocked every choke point with 2-3 gateway (including the one right next to the high yield), summoned templar behind every wall, built collosus, a few dt..basically, a mixed army. I built as many canon as I could as well, and prepared 5 stargate to pump void ray and eventually carrier.

One last thing, save between every wave. Sometime, thing just go wrong due to bad micro or w/e, and it's better to reload than lose a bunch of unit. It's also hard to predict when they will send a wave (especially the broodlord from the side, nydus summon..etc)

When carriers pop, it's usually a win if you can keep them alive.

Honestly didn't really have any trouble in the slightest and there was no need to DT wall or HQ minerals. Just build 3 Robo off the bat and spam Colossus to kill the Lings and immortals to kill the hybrids. Use grav beam like a champ (build a few more phoenixes too). If you have time Cannon up the upper platform then once you get the tech just retreat and sit there till you win with your Carriers.
And yeah, maxing upgrades as fast as humanly possible is so important (I build extra forges and cyber cores)

Anyone done the 5 Zealots in the first 200something seconds of game? I got marines and zerglings, but zealots seems to be a challenge, what order are you building @ what # of probes?

My micro is shit so I won't be able to beam all the hybrids. D: I'll try building a defense since I never built anything when I got the achievement on normal lol.

So Carriers > Void Ray? I went mass stalkers/voidrays/colossii but with the psi cost for colossus I didn't know how much it was worth it.

    It's been a while but i think
    pylon@9
    gateway@10
    gateway@11
    pylon@11

build an extra probe 12/18 and then just chrono boost out on zealots. should get it just fine

I keep trying that level on Brutal and I just have no cash at the start. I keep trying to up out units and upgrade but eventually it gets to the point where my forces are whittled down faster than I can make and immortal/colossus cost a whole lot.

Edit: nvm managed to win. Just had to hold out until Carriers then once the Mothership arrived it was cake.

Carriers are better since interceptor can take some hit. Void ray are pretty good when you get them, but stop once carrier tech open up, carrier simply do more dmg. Psi cost doesnt matter, I dont think my army ever went above 140 when I did it.

I would try the dark templar wall if I were you, it seem to be the strats that require the less microing, and I've seen many people vouch for it. If you insist on doing it in a more normal way, you will need collosus and/or templar for the splash dmg. Other unit alone wont cut it. Also, it's a good idea to fall back in the inner area as soon it get too hard to defend the outside. Forget the archives.

    Thanks.

I tried the wall thing, they got raped super fast. I just went with my old strat of a lot of units, mostly colli. Gas was a huge issue with all the upgrades/units but eventually just my carriers survived and that was enough to get me the kills I needed.

Wall strat works I can vouch for it. You just need to be fast with picking off overseer's.
