    Corsair 2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz PC3-12800 WIN3X40961600C7DHXIN

Bought this kit from newegg for a build a while and somehow never used it, still factory sealed. Don't even remember what I paid for it and it's "currently unavailable" on newegg, but all the other prices I can find online all seem retarded, anywhere from $450-700; don't really see myself getting that much for it now (although is this tech still current? I figured DDR4 would be out by now).

If you want more pictures or are interested, just send me a PM/post with an offer. I already have a set of the same RAM in my PC, which confuses me as to why I have a second kit, but whatever. Will let it go on the cheap, don't be afraid to lowball an offer

Tech is still current, 7-7-7-20 timings @ 1600MHz is fairly good and above what most people have. Only thing that strikes me as odd/worries me is that it says it's rated for 1.90v which is insanely high... Here are the newer XMS3 series with nearly those same specs: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145285 but they do have different (crap) heat spreaders. Also are you sure you've got the right picture? The model number you have in the title suggests that you have 2 x 4GB modules.

I don't know why it says twin3x4096, that's what it says on the package though. each stick just says CM3X2048, but it is the 2x2GB module set.

You've got DDR2 which runs at higher voltages than DDR3. Some of corsairs DDR2 modules run at 2.1v even. But the norm I see for good performance DDR3 volts is usually around 1.65v, so yeah 1.9v is pretty high as far as DDR3 goes.

My BIOS tells me that @1.65v (the rating for my Mushkin Ridgebacks) is borderline burn-shit-down. But as long as the ram is rated to 1.9v and it doesn't run ridiculously hot, it should be fine. Maybe it's intel-specific ram that runs at 1.9?
