Kuya the 14th amendment was created by lazy mexicans who want to come here and get knocked up so they can con their way into citizenship.

The republicans have squared away the cognitive dissonance by stating that they want to uphold only the original constitution. Basically the bill of rights is meaningless to them. This is not actually a new position.

Yes, i do recall some conservatives contending that the bill of rights is unnecessary since those rights are understood to exist within the original constitution since functions blocking such rights are not explicitly alloted to the federal government.
