I'm kind of in the same boat. I have my connections and it's easy to get but I certainly don't have the luxury of actually choosing the strains. I just get whatever the dealer has and that's usually not a bad thing but I'd like to be able to try different named strains once in a while.

I do love how things have worked out over the years. I don't really know any "dealers," anymore. It's all just friends that grow and trade up and sell to each other. There's not any kind of middlemen or shady business going on. Definitely one of the big perks to living in the country.

Yeah, I really only know like 3 actual "dealers" who grow/sell their own shit, I'm getting a medical card soon just so I don't have to fucking go through leaps and bounds to get quality bud. That and I have trouble with appetite/sleeping/I'm incredibly anxious >_>;

If you don't know where to get it. Just grow it. You can literally build a growbox with ponics for 200 bucks or less. Lifetime supply of weed as long as you aren't retarded and maintenance everything (especially your carbon canisters/ozone scrubbers).

Where do you live? You're in the heartland of weed practically for the south. SE KY is saturated with growers all the way to the border and past.

I live about an hour and a half southwest of Nashville, TN. Middle of nowhere. There is another sanctuary in Cali, but it's nowhere near as big as ours. I think they have 4 or 5 elephants right now and we have 14. I keep hearing about how many growers there are near here and how pot is TN's biggest cash crop...but nobody around here ever has anything good and rarely has anything at all.

I was thinking more about the grow option lately, is there a how-to guide somewhere that someone with experience can point me at? I have zero botany knowledge.

growing is probably your best bet, the thing linked above is pretty damn nice but it's also pretty overdone and restricted by size, if you've got more room to work with you could do a whole lot more (even just like a 6x6 area instead of his 2x4), and it can really be a lot simpler than that if you're not trying to hide it in a cabinet
