I hope the prosecutor is right and it does start to domino state by state. It would really suck if of all things, and with how the Obama administration has been, if federal government started stepping in and stopping the states. One of the big problems my dad keeps bringing up is how many jobs this could affect negatively on the police and federal side of things. While it would create jobs at local levels it will have a negative impact at higher levels, however it would also reduce the amount of funding needed while creating funding. Such a fun time to be an American really, getting to watch and experience the laws change as years go by and hopefully be abolished just like prohibition.

If Christie can make statements regarding sports betting being unfairly enforced at the federal level and should be a state decision, then I don't see how this shouldn't be the same.

Eh. Sorry to nitpick, but it's kinda silly to hear someone complain about research while simultaneously displaying that they've done none of their own.

Describing any physical effect on developing brains us going to be hard. They'll have to prove a separation from the psychological effects of long term use, which is hard with young people and hallucinagins.

They get so many points simply because they chose to go back through and dismiss all current cases involving less than an ounce. That's amazing and I am quite proud of how everyone is reacting to this law.

But what about our brothers currently in the prison system for small-amounts of marijuana possession? What happens to them? I don't have much knowledge of prohibition era history but I'm worried when it's all said an done and marijuana is illegal we'll still have huge swatches of the community still incarcerated.

Have to remember that while crying about gambling enforcement because he benefits from gambling being allowed there, Christie was also cockblocking pot legalization in NJ.

As I don't immediately have access to a study involving the true physiological effects on teenagers, let's look at one that involves even younger subjects:

    http://norml.org/about/item/breathe-...the-literature

While that article is admittedly from a NORML website, and therefore biased, it provides all of its references for verification purposes.

As for another discussion that takes the IQ matter head-on, and explains why it's the wrong argument to make:

    http://hightimes.com/legal/parmentano/7878

That is an opinion piece, and as such, it does not have references. Naturally, being from High Times, it too is biased. Nonetheless, I do not believe that anyone in support of marijuana legalization would contest the point being made.

I personally rather enjoyed NIDA's endorsement of the study, considering that I covered them recently in the marijuana decriminalization thread in the Political Poopdeck.

Before I close this message, let me note that I've never inappropriately claimed that marijuana was completely harmless. That is not true. Anyone who states as much is harming the cause for marijuana legalization rather than strengthening it, as dishonesty wins no strong supporters.

However, it is indisputable that the effects it does have are miniscule and statistically insignificant when compared to the side-effects of liquor, nicotine, and the harshest pharmaceutical products they may replace, such as diazepam (Valium).

As such, even though I would never endorse underage recreational marijuana usage (though I would and have supported underage medical usage), if I were to see a teenager smoking anything, I would definitely prefer it be a doobie over an actual cigarette.

Yeah I know. Used to bring up those two speeches all the time when I wanted to strangle him before Hurricane Sandy. In one speech he said that The states should have more control, and things shouldn't be decided at a Federal level like sports betting. In another speech he said The states have too much control, and if something is illegal at the Federal level like weed then it should stay that way and states shouldn't interfere with federal law.

I gotta pee in a cup soon. Just had an interview that went well. The individual told me that all I really had to do now was a D.T. and Background check. It's a job at a pharmacy as a Tech and I'm kind of looking at pharmacy as my future career path, in the process of doing Pharmacy college applications now, so failing would mean never being able to get hired from this one company for life.

I haven't smoked in ~26/27 days now but before I was a daily smoker beforehand, around 1g a day on average (I only buy a single O a month). I'm 6" 1' and about 150/155 pounds. I have a fairly high metabolism as well.

I'm guessing that I should be alright but any other last minute tips and techniques?

I will of course drink a fuck ton of water in the next few days, make sure to take some Vit. B12 to hopefully keep it yellow.

I've heard things like Aspirin can sometimes help trick the tests and various Zinc-supplements helping to bind to the THC metabolites, making them too large for renal removal therefore going into my feces.

Should I be worried or am I probably gonna be ok and just paranoid?

Don't fuck around with random shit that's supposed to "trick" tests.

Drink a lot of water, and consider some creatine so it doesn't get so low they get suspicious.

What state do you live in?

Also, what type of test is it?

That tall and skinny I'm assuming you're fine. But drink lots of water and do some cardio for the next few days. Then go back to normal 1-2 days before the test.

Just go back to post #797 in this thread and read through all of that. We covered pretty much everything.

So I'm almost done with my first 1/4 that I've been using exclusively for getting to sleep on nights that I have a lot of trouble, it's lasted me almost two months. I've been smoking from a glass bowl since its quick and easy and doesn't stink up the bathroom (its cold out, so I stay indoors) but it isn't too strong or its getting stale or I'm doing something wrong as it doesn't seem to last as long or have as much of an effect as it used to. I'd prefer using paper but I feel like I use more product so I was sticking to the bowl for conservation.

Any recommendations on what else to try? Should I pony up for a cheaper vape? I'm really only looking to get to sleep and make a little last as long as possible.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. When I want an experience, I use paper, specifically blunts. When I want conservation I use a bowl. I feel like I use 3 to 4x as much with paper as I do a bowl.

I never really want an experience, I just want to be knocked out typically lol.
