Actually, it's not a lottery based system.

Each ticket will give you a "roll" on a virtual die in a particular number range.

All individuals who have the highest single ranked rolls of all the cumulative, unique users who are eligible for the contest, will win a ticket. So each person can still still only win one potential ticket, because only your highest roll counts.

That's interesting.

I knew the system was that you'd only win one, but I've been trying to think from a programming perspective how they would do the draw and what you suggest is far easier than the routes I was thinking of.

Thought I'd have to add more to the list when I got up to be honest. I'm in the same boat as Gulkeeva now. Got over 30 gifts while I was asleep and dont feel like going through the random people. I think I'm just gonna stick to this thread.

i woke up to a couple PMs so i responded to those with gifts but i have over 100 now and have the same situation.

Yeah, I know how you guys feel. I'm at 140 sent out and 113 received, but some received are duplicates.

But I'll try to check Tokitoki's list maybe twice a day for new addresses. At least it's slowing down.

If the amount of people you're sending to is overwhelming, you should probably do what i do and make a list on this thread in your post. It has helped me avoid most repeats thus far.

Its more that I dont want to go through all the random people. I have no problem sending them to people who are posting here.

I started like that on the random thread, but then switched to an Excel sheet so that I can add new names at the bottom and then sort to see if I have already sent to the new ones. (People I've sent to already are color coded...) So hopefully I haven't sent any duplicates.
