Everyday bullshit: Charles Tyrwhitte shirts, Jack Robie shirts, Thomas Pink shirts, Brooks Brothers for slacks/shorts, Denim Design Company for jeans, also Se7en and occasionally Diesel (none of that dyed/stained BS) for denim as well. T-shirts from all over the place. Winter shit is all snowboard-related from an old job contact (Ride, thirtytwo, Rome etc)
Suits: Canali, Zegna suits for important shit at work (Office is super casual) and/or serious event/night out. Jos Bank or Brooks Brothers for sport jackets. I've been meaning to have a truly custom-tailored suit made but I'm not paying 5k+ for that shit in the UK. I'll have to wait until I get sent to Asia.
Work shoes: I have a pair of Edward Green's to go with my nicer suits but just some black Oxfords for the office.
Other shoes: Tons of Nike SB's. Still have a pair of the Quagmire's in my closet waiting for the right day. Sanuks for the beach and summertime, Asics for the gym.
All you fuckers in NYC should pass through http://www.odinnewyork.com/?pageid=4
It's expensive but it's good shit.
Brooks Brothers, Vineyard Vines, Polo, Lacoste, and Sperrys
Some of my favorites would be Express, A&F (for jeans mainly), Arden B, Guess, etc. Forever 21 has cute stuff, but most of their dresses/bottoms are too big or don't fit right.
Hell yes, that's the only way I would buy ripped jeans. They had some white pants on clearance, but my wife told me I looked like a Jonas brother in them. I fucking wanted them soooooo bad too. You ran get crazy deals on that rack, I think I paid $18 for those jeans. They took me on my wifes dress though.
Nah in all seriousness, Express, Banana Republic, Armani (lolpersianswitharmani), and usually any funny shirt that sparks my interest from wherever it may be.
The white straight leg Roccos or the white casual pants? That's crazy that wherever you went still had those, we sold out of pretty much everything at my store months ago. All we have left for denim are the super slim black Zachs in 30x30 which no one can fit into.
And you totally shouldve gotten the white pants. I just took my white Joe's Jeans in to get hemmed so I can finally wear them before summer is over.
They had 2 white pants, the photographers and some other white pants. The legs were pretty skinny. Those are the ones I wanted.
I usually stick to Burtons for jeans and shirts/t-shirts. I have a few band/Tv/comic tees.
I usually avoid brands that everyone else is wearing, not because i want to be different or anything, but i see so many people wearing Hollister/Gstar/Henleys stuff that is just of poor design and simply displays the brand name.
I'll buy from anywhere if i generally find the design intriguing, but i find buying something just for the sake of name status is quite pathetic.
For shoes/trainers, i always buy quicksilver, because they always fit perfect and last me quite a while.
I've got a very simple style. Tyler shorts from Polo, and polo shirts entire summer (Lacoste, Polo RL, etc.).
Got 3 pairs of shorts (2 beige, 1 dark blue) and plenty of polos (red, navy blue, black, white, brown).
Just pick my color for w/ever day and wear haha. Things get more complicated in winter for sure.
I shop on Thinkgeek.com, Threadless.com (surprised that has not been mentioned yet), NY & Company, and Levis for Jeans.
Occasionally I shop at Burlington Coat Factory, and Hot Topic Sales racks. No way will I play $20+ dollars for a t-shirt, but I definitely can't pass it up when it goes on sale.
My BF gets his jeans at ExpressI think they do great for menswear, but the ladies stuff is not quite my style for the price.
I used to shop Threadless.com quite a bit, but after awhile I found their own shirt brand they use instead of american apparel tees to be a really weird fit. Some of the prints I'd order were either done oddly on the shirts as well. Now I just have like 8 or so shirts I never want to wear, lol
I love this brand so much. I mean, I'm a typical white boy, but The Hundreds, Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Creams, along with Amongst Friends are all carried by a boutique in Birmingham MI and although I can't pull of most of the stuff (size, whiteness etc) I like to pull pieces into my wardrobe.
Edit: Also a big fan of uniqlo, William Rast, Rodarte, Salvatore Ferragamo, Balenciaga and Y-3
D.I.Y. or die.
Ecko Unlimited is my personal favorite.
