    per usual I'm pretty far behind

    I'm about to start playing Mass Effect finally, but my XBL is expired, is that going to fuck up anything for me aside from not being able to do co-op?

    There's no multiplayer in Mass Effect. The closest thing to online interactions would be the cerberus news network in ME2 and that's all just flavor text. You're not going to miss out on anything.

    Cool, I was more worried about patches and such but the box says parts of it needed paid XBL subscription, and I wasn't sure if that was just some sort of generic thing they put on every 360 game or what, thanks

    Feel bad for you son.

    No worries I'm probably still going to stall on buying it, currently trying to beat NBA 2k8. And I'm only 24 games into an 82 game season.
