Seriously, fuck New Egg. They are so unbelievably slow.

I ordered 80% of my new system from Amazon yesterday, and it has already been shipped and sent on its way to be delivered tomorrow, and the other 20% of my new system (including the case and memory) I ordered through New Egg yesterday, and they are still "processing" my order. It hasn't even been shipped or anything.

I contacted customer service to see wtf was up and they were like oh yeah it takes 48 hours before we "process" your payment and begin to assemble the items to be shipped. Which is amazing because I used the same credit card I used for Amazon, and my bank even called me to verify my New Egg order wasn't fraudulent, and I told them it wasn't and they cleared the way for my order.

I wish Amazon had the rest of what I needed because not only did I get free two-day shipping on everything, they processed and shipped it all hours after I ordered it, and they were also cheaper than New Egg by $10-$20 (or even higher if you bought from Amazon Merchants), and they had better rebates offers.

Lol, really bitching about an order from yesterday? First time orders with newegg take longer to process if the card was never used with them before.

I get that you're 'venting' about your 12-24 hour delay, but you're not gonna get much agreement with this. Newegg is notoriously lightning fast, I typically get things next day with the cheapest shipping option.. granted I'm one whole state over. My last order:

Chill the fuck out? Newegg are PRISTINE with getting orders out on time and fast. I live in CT, and I get 95% of my orders within 1-2 days of ordering, basically next day, no matter what shipping method I select. If nothing happens tomorrow then vent, patience is a virtue.

Why should I chill the fuck out when I am not a first time customer of theirs and Amazon basically handed them their ass on a platter. Amazon shipped my order within 3-6 hours of my order and I will have it all tomorrow afternoon. There is no excuse for such a delay on New Egg's part. They are just slow (comparatively to what I am used to.) I am not like you lolpatient people who are cool with their orders taking 10-15 business days.

I totally agree with Celeras here, you won't get much support. I am an Amazon prime member and a normal Newegg member, and I could order something Newegg normal shipping and Amazon 2nd day and generally the Newegg will get here earlier or on the same day (in Southern California).
If you can't handle less than 2 days of waiting for your new computer you should try to plan ahead a little farther.

Uh, you said your bank called you to make sure the charges weren't fraudulent... you do realize that they'd put on a hold on that transaction until you approved it right? And maybe that's why your order was stuck on processing for so long? Blame your bank, not Newegg.

Um, the order isn't on hold. It was on hold for like 5min immediately after I put the order in, and I've spoken with a customer representative since who said orders take 48 hours to process and that my order was "on schedule" for that time line.

2-day shipping means I order today, and get it in two days. Amazon is hip to this obviously because that is exactly what is happening with my mobo, CPU, SSD, HD, GPU, and PSU. Even Frozen CPU shipped my megahalems the same day I ordered it, as well as my Yate Loon vendor.

If it wasn't for new egg dragging its ass I would be able to put together my system tomorrow evening.
