Abyssea NM Weaknesses

Many people including myself have fought nms back to back in less time than that and had the same skill not trigger a !! on two pops (easier when you're spamming the same pop NM). Seems to be random shit, as was mentioned before.

Only one advice to give to other people then =

Bring a WAR, PLD and SAM then and have them bring all the different types of weapons that they can use and spam those different elemental WSs then

Both NMs was killed within 15 minutes of each other and as I said with the same Club WS to trigger red !!, so now im wondering:
Could whatever Elemental WS that is needed to trigger the !! be in correspondance to a particular elemental day or moon phase? And not be NM specific whatsoever?

Can you even tell us the WS that was used, or what Vana'day/moonphase you fought on?

Its no use telling us you have a idea or theory without giving us data to test to confirm.

I couldn't give a shit what kind of debuff it inflicts. Is that scheme generally right?

The WSs used to trigger red !! and atma drops both times was Club Elemental WSs but i dont know which one in particular since i had alliance chat filther on.

Most of the time was Firesday as far as i remember. But not 100% on this.

What I dont get about this game is why its so hard to find people that are interested in killing the main abyssea quest NMs?

And farming whats needed to pop it.

Its hard just to find people thats intersted in atma which i really dont get - there are some really nice atma boosts out there (thats my opinion at least).

I think grellow unlocks additional drop slots - the only times I've ever gotten a ton of extra stuff have been after grellow !!.

Most randoms just don't know about them I suspect, and aren't prepared to try and drop atmas via elem WS. When we ran a random Lugarhoo in my LS the other day we had 2 full parties mostly just there for the atma.

Not really a weakness, but me and some friends were fighting Cuelebre and both times he seemed to get some kind of PERFECT DEFENSE, nukes that were normally doing 200+ damage were doing no damage and Cuelebre wasn't putting Stoneskin up (we had a Stunner), even ranged attacks were hitting for 0. A couple of nukes/ranged attacks would get through, but the majority would do nothing. Anyways, after the second fight we realized that both times we had someone use the Conflux (#3) hoping to reset hate (BLM mostly) and Cuelebre didn't gain that PERFECT DEFENSE until a little after that point. Does anyone have any verification on this or has this happened to someone else before?

Just wondering, has anyone got multiple different color !! off any NM?

Sometimes it seems so ridicolous, like you some NM and you have like 5 BLM casting whatever imaginable spell possible and you still cant trigger any !!. Then you fight some NM's like Hadayosh, where its only good item is the hands and its not a melee friendly NM really, I dont know how they expect people really to try all these different ws's on them >.>.

Yes it is possible to proc mulitple colors on the same mob. I've personally seen red and yellow proc on same NM. Im not sure of Nyzul or lv 80 ws as I've never seen or heard any reports of them working so far.

As for blms nuking dont forget to use -aga spells of all tiers, AM and AMII, elemental dots, and NIN ninjitsu of all lvs. NIN tools are probably the least used method to help find !! .

If you're having issues using tp on NMs, find another mob to TP on. Plenty of sheeps and rams in the area of Hadhayosh. No one said you'd have to tp on the actual NM. Have a pld/nin or nin/war tank random mobs while melee builds tp and uses them on said NMs.

Did you use Red Lotus Blade more than once or did you trigger the red !!'s more than once?

I only triggered it once, was only attempted once. But the reason it didn't drop is because it never had the chance to drop (we didn't defeat it )

Everytime we try for an Atma, we only trigger the Red !! once. We are 100% on Atma drop when triggering Red !! a single time. We fought two Turul last night. First Turul didnt give any !! and we tried about 30 of the 42(ish) possible magic ws.
