Grellow !! seems a bit based on mob size if there aren't different ones in the .dat, looks bright yellow there.

Also got Atma of Baleful Bones without proccing a red !!, 1/39. I'm 1/1 on every atma I've tried to farm using elemental WS for red !!.

Quick question: does triggering red !! just increase the chance of obtaining atma from an already low percentage? My group got atma off Chukwa the other day and I'm quite certain we never triggered a red !! via elemental WS since we were exclusively manaburning it.

This has happened twice before oddly on Chukwa. I specifically haven't noticed reports of other NMs dropping atma without red !! marks but that's probably I just missed it. If nothing else Chukwa definitely drops without red !! triggering.

Well Thorny just said he's gotten atma from the corse without a red !! (1/39), so it must just be an extremely low drop rate which skyrockets (to 100% it seems) if you trigger the !!.

We got the one off the Tiger in LaTheine within the first 3-4 days of the expansion being released without any !!, and I kinda argued against the !!s relating to atma due to that, and us getting !!s with no Atma on other mobs, but of course this was before the color correlation was looked into or anything. It seems like red !!s is 100%, and otherwise it's something really low (2-5%), but I do think you can get Atma off any mob without proccing red !!s, it's just a shit-low drop rate.

I don't know if it's been discussed, but it seems like the WS will not trigger !! if used while the mob is using a TP move, on both Eve and Kukulkan we had to use the WS a second time because they used a TP move as we were WSing, and the second try triggered the !!.

some screens it looks greenish; others yellow was decided to just call it grellow earlier in i think this thread. Most people don't want to go through the hassle of doing color calibration on their monitors so there is some variance.

I think for purposes of triggering weakness, the !! does load, but theres an oversight (shocking) in animations that prevents the !! from loading. It should be easy to test out....find weakness, hold TP, wait for mob to use TP and attempt to interrupt?

It certainly did not stun the mob either time that the WS were used during the TP animation, and we were able to recognize that the WS were used during TP and that we needed to try them again.

Given the tiny amount of people that actually report information I'm betting this is the case for sure. Bet there's a load of people that just take it for granted they have like 7-8 atma without trying.

Got a blue !! on lugar with asuran fists, and then as i was spamming sam skills, I got a red !! off jinpu the second time i used it around 50%. Ended with atma and poise shoes.

Also on lugar, when i proced that red !!. He went fucking nuts on me. Crit 442 fevered pitch 600ish another crit for 430 and then another fevered pitch for like 500

Firesday for Both Fights :

First fight proc'd Red !! with Red Lotus Blade & Got Atma
Second fight proc'd Red !! with Tachi:Koki

My theory is it's connected to the SC properties of the WS or the alignments of the WS in accordance with day. Red lotus blade is obvious, tachi koki has fusion SC properties so that's my theory for it working. Feel free to debunk this but we'll be trying alot more tests over the next while since we got our lunar abyssites finally, maybe can get more info that confirms or denies the idea of it being related to day.

One of the jp speakers in my ls said that jp wiki stated that you cannot trigger weaknesses during ws's. I know, I know, lol jp wiki, but it might hold some water, as we experienced the same thing you did on Briareus. We finally getting the red !! when we did all of them a second time, and it ended up being seraph strike (one of the first we tested). It definitely terror'd him the second time, and did not the first time.

One other theory we had was that it may have to deal damage. A few of the really weenie ws's would occasionally deal 0 damage. However, he wasn't sure if his first try did 0. Anyone else know if this is true/false?

Please post gameday for those triggering atma or other !!s. In order to find a pattern (if there is one which I believe there is) we need all relevant information and gameday is a big factor. Thanks.

I've compiled a list of what I think is all the elemental WS's and their BASE SC properties (ie for Koki it's Reverberation/Impaction) which I am hoping to use to find a correlation with gameday in order to activate atmas, so far from my experiences, I think if it's linked to BASE SC properties of the elemental weaponskills, then the possible WS to trigger Red !! is aligned with either the current days SC (ie Liquefaction on Firesday) or the SC the gameday is WEAK to (ie Reveberation on Firesday). This explains Koki working on firesday, and jinpu working on earthsday. If we find more evidence to correlate this, I can post the list I made. I'm still unsure if the lower tier (like energy steal? or shining strike / shining blade etc) WS can work to activate atma or not? Also has anyone ever had a questable WS unlock Atma !!? ie : leaden salute / trueflight / etc, or any of the new ones added to 290+ skill (herculean slash / infernal scythe) etc?
