Please post gameday for those triggering atma or other !!s. In order to find a pattern (if there is one which I believe there is) we need all relevant information and gameday is a big factor. Thanks.

I've compiled a list of what I think is all the elemental WS's and their BASE SC properties (ie for Koki it's Reverberation/Impaction) which I am hoping to use to find a correlation with gameday in order to activate atmas, so far from my experiences, I think if it's linked to BASE SC properties of the elemental weaponskills, then the possible WS to trigger Red !! is aligned with either the current days SC (ie Liquefaction on Firesday) or the SC the gameday is WEAK to (ie Reveberation on Firesday). This explains Koki working on firesday, and jinpu working on earthsday. If we find more evidence to correlate this, I can post the list I made. I'm still unsure if the lower tier (like energy steal? or shining strike / shining blade etc) WS can work to activate atma or not? Also has anyone ever had a questable WS unlock Atma !!? ie : leaden salute / trueflight / etc, or any of the new ones added to 290+ skill (herculean slash / infernal scythe) etc?

Someone posted getting !! with energy steal on Eve a few posts up. Since it doesn't chain/have sc properties, your theory is kind of dead. Not to mention we just had this whole gameday correlated theory circus much earlier and nothing significant could be drawn from it.

No offense, but you're like 3 weeks behind. It's not related, you just happened to see it a couple times and made it fit. Read the whole thread, we've already debunked it, tons of people have posted times it doesn't work, and then there's the fact that WSes without properties work also. sorry.

Blade: Ei triggered red !! on Eve. Also Freezebite on Dozing Dorian for red !!. Freezebite was used twice but we think the first one was used during Sheep Charge so didn't work.

It covered all the elements so I dunno, confused on how it actually works...

It's not related to which element the WS is, just has to be a specific elemental WS. Need to go through them all, don't skip on others of the same element. As an example, Tachi: Koki proc'd red !! on Chukwa after my WHM's Seraph Strike failed to do so.

Going after Briareus tomorrow hopefully we can find a way to trigger his !! while zerging him down. Guess just assign everyone a WS and cross fingers.

This is all the information I picked up from the threads:

It is a preselected Elemental WS, The Elemental WS can not be used while the mob is casting a TP move.

The red "!!" will cause a terror effect on the mob.

If you cause a red "!!" more then once you're drastically reduce the chance of getting atma.

Single proc of red "!!" = 100% chance to gain atma.

I want to add the a few days ago, before patch we did Alkonost, just quickly smashed his face and got Atma of the Gales. I am like 99% sure we didn't get a Red !! off because no one said they saw it nor were people using elemental WS's or anything. I am thinking there is always a small chance of getting atma? I am sure there would be more accounts of it by now though, this was also before there was apparently a chat log message as it was pre-patch.


ALSO, think it matters if everyone was to spam there WS's all at once?

Hot Shot is actually physical for some reason, same for Flaming Arrow. Gives ruby light. Trueflight and Leaden Salute are the only elemental ranged WSs.

ahh ok cool then, I read a few pages ago that it coulden't be nyzul or lv80 WS's so I guess that really limits it down a lot.

Has anyone been able to get a Grellow weakness on Pallid Panzy yet and if so what was it?
I've been trying for a while with no luck. I will update my post if I find a spell that works. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Weakness might be determined on claim, I had Asabnosam put up the blue (? gear swaps so I don't know) !! after Bio 2, but only the second time I aggroed it after it went unclaimed during pull. It didn't react ot the original Bio 2 pull. I'm sure I fought it during firesday, can't remember if I pulled before the end of darksday though.

Blizzard III did it once but failed to do so in the next 10~ pops. You should probably be prepared to cycle through all spells if you want grellow !!.
