Although I didn't take a screenshot, I had Ice Spirit proc yellow on Mielikki with Freeze tonight.
Puller didn't die, was a relatively smooth fight, only used the triggering WS once (was either Shadow of Death or Cyclone). If it was Cyclone, that person disengaged the monster and started attacking another imp that we'd pulled for TP. Sapentia Sabots dropped (only time I've seen them). Maybe the game fucked up and interpreted Red as a Blue?
Had the same problem with this guy initially. We slowed the fight to try to get off all our elemental WS at least twice each and didn't stagger. Then it went to head form and we tried it again just for S&G's. Still no dice. Then it went to full body form again, and we did it again and nothing. Head form one more time, we were like screw it just kill the stupid thing. Then after that it went to full body form for the last time and people gave it another shot, and we managed to stagger it. There may be some additional requirement while fighting him that has to be met before being able to stagger or his stagger rate is just super shitty.
I dont know if this was alrdy mention but yesterday we did bukkhis or however it's spell and at 50% other alliance stole it. We were kitting it to recover went yellow but never idle and we hadn't proc red yet. Stealer priced red and we got the atma. No clue if stealer got atma too.
For the 100th time, you can't trigger weaknesses during weaponskills. Ironclad's normal attacks counts as weaponskills, so you need to WS inbetween. The window can be iffy and hard to time if you don't know exactly what to look for. You also can't trigger it during its head form.
There's no additional requirements for pulverizer, you just have to account for server lag and time it right. I triggered red on it at 99%.
KI always goes to the ally of the popper/person who originally aggroed. This goes for KIs off of NMs for T2 pops also...if people are kiting something, 1 person dies and it goes white and you steal it while it's still aggro'd on others...they will get the KI, not you. Has to go 100% passive for the KI to go to your ally instead of the people that originally claimed/pop, pop KI, abyssite, or atma.
actually agree with failure, My group pulled an NM and puller died before our tank grabbed it, I was in range with the mob targeted. It never went yellow but was passive and puller did not get KI even though we pro'c red!! because the person who grabbed it after puller died already had KI.
Here is something interesting for anyone who is wondering too, I believe that Atma credit is tied to the individual claimer/popper as well instead of original alliance or hatelist. The atma credit spreads to whoever the popper/claimer is allied/partied with when the mob dies. Had a situation where I popped an IG and dropped alliance at the last percent for some people to grab atma after procing red while in the ally. When it died nobody received the atma since I was out of the ally even though they were in the ally that killed. Possible that it might be that 5% chance that the atma didn't drop although we proc'd red only once, but believe it probably has more to do with me popping and me being out of ally when it died. Anyways just an interesting bit about the mechanics of it.
Popper is definitely the one tied to the ending credit, regardless of what alliance they're in when it dies. Whenever someone from a party Thorny wasn't in popped Chloris for his farming, even when he broke his party off the alliance(to keep us from losing EXP), the light from the kill always went to the party the popper was in.
<_< except that there was no competition for the pull? I know that you have to wait for things to go idle before you re-claim.
Re: Ironclad
This has been the hardest NM to proc Red !! on, I agree with whats stated here that normal attacks count as WS. The timing has to be precise(or lucky) to get, took 4 tries, and we had all accounted WS for each time, with people who are very well versed in Abyssya and proc'ing !!
In reference to grellow !!, does either current day, day before, or day after tend to have a higher chance to hold the trigger or is it literally random chance through the 24 spells?
I got an interesting question. Is it possible to trigger Red !! and then zone out and go change to another job while alliance is fighting something and still aquire an Atma? Like does zoning out negate it or does it not matter?
