Abyssea NM Weaknesses

I think what we have really learned today is that Thorny is better than everyone else here and we are all inefficient and stupid.

And on the other side, I think some grellow advocates are exaggerating things here. Since the list of grellow spells came out, we've done mnk,brd,whm,thf,blu,blm (or drop the monk when we only have 5) for all our seal farming. I have not seen a single 5 seal pool that entire time, and we almost always trigger grellow (darksday providing the occasional exception). If 5 can drop it is pretty rare.

I've yet to see 5 either =(, I see more 2-3's than i do 4's with yellow and I'm always on TH4

Kinda BS, I guess i'm just -that- boss, Still try to proc yellow when possible, But only with what i have, never go out of my way to bring multiple people/jobs to ensure it. I'll gamble for the proc though, always.

Ok, I searched through my last 429 seal drops, and I did get 5 seal pools twice and didn't notice. One thing I noticed is they were both timed NMs, (guku and athamas). Most of my logs are of us spamming a pop NM for a few hours till everyone fills up on seals from it. None of those have gotten 5 seal pools. So its up to 4 on pop NMs and 5 on timed?

I'd say the up-to-5 seal drop on time popped NM is pretty consistent with my experience. I've gotten a 3 BST/1 PUP/1 COR drop from Flame Skimmer a few days ago off a Grellow proc when farming abyssite.

Never seen 5 on a triggered NM nor timed NM, but done far more triggered than timed with grellow and/or TH. Probably more seals from timed.

I've seen 5 quite often on timed pop NMs. I did notice less seals from forced pop NMs but wasn't sure if it was just bad luck or not. I guess it wasn't.

No timestamp, dont care, you can CLEARLY see resisted lightning threnodies were casted properly, and theres no other spell that could have landed that procced grellow.

Not like there is much to talk about anymore. the first Abyssea add on was exciting, but now that everyone knows how to do it and most of the NMs not being harder than "2x RDM/NIN or MNK + WHM", its not like there is much to talk about strat wise, etc.

The rest is just peanut gallery quoting the original few people back at everyone else, and the few people who pride themselves far too much on easy-to-get drops and fill up media. Add on the mainstream people who finally realized BG is the place to be instead of alla, and have the logical skills of most 6th-graders.. and you have current BG.

first day of scars i added post of all free standing NMs in Mis coast ok i can't run parse's and do time stamps (no windower and its a new char free start) not like i can be as useful as Kristy or thorny or Failure but if i find new infomation i do add it instead on horde it like a spoilt child (Thorny's already won this by just getting in your head)

In all seriousness BG has not changed much in the 5 years I've been here. ~90% bullshit/10% useful information. It has problems, but it's still the best run FF11 forum around.
