I thought they said they had scrapped the invite wave idea and are just going straight to open beta ASAP?

Fuck Yeah, best part is everyone who gets invited gets two extra keys.
Link for survey for people having browser/email issues.

Im going to say it right now, if you get in and you try to sell your beta invites on BG, Im going to murder you then ban you
Thanks for the heads up.
On the beta, not the modzilla murder spree.
Well, survey filled out, come on getting to play Sand King in HD!
Let's make a pact to share invites if only a few of us get in?
Who's gonna hate if I say I got a direct inv from a friend of icefrog, had it for months and only played 1 game?

shit.. I never played DotA. Now I have find a way to properly BS my way through part 2 of this survey.
I used to play Dota quite a bit in the day and I had to fudge my way through part of it too. Estimate how much gold you get per game? Uhh, ok.
You can't ban me for being in EVERY alpha/beta![]()
Actually I played more on a friends pc and my thoughts are basically this ( from like 3hrs experience or something ), it's basically dota with a better engine, new graphics, same game.
If you want a better dota, then hon is a step forward.
If you want an evolution in a different direction then LoL is another way to go.
Dota 2 is just HD dota pretty much.
I'm fairly sure ( educated guess, not any real info ) that it's going to go down the F2P route w/ skins/boosts/etc, I'm sure hon and lol players will feel like it's a step back so I'm not sure it's going to draw that mass crowd for a very long period of time - given that already active moba players are more likely playing hon/lol rather than dota.
Hey I was being polite![]()
lolwut?
They stopped porting DotA heroes specifically so that they would be differentiated from DotA, but this has resulted in terrible imbalance (Emerald Warden, pre-nerf Silhouette...) and unstable metagame. This gets exacerbated by their poor business model that relies on constant new release heroes to get people to pay for access and encourages smurfs.
HD DotA is an improvement over HoN in every way. A better engine is the only reason why I switched to HoN in the first place.
I'd say 11k would be average for most players. That's two max tier items (Butterfly/Buriza/Heart/Scythe)
so much wrong with this post
Spoiler: show
