Well only the effect, not the damage. And if your team revolves around ults chances are a BKB will keep you alive during the blackhole anyway.

The issue isn't the damage. Black Hole is never about the damage (after the early game when you can surprise someone who tries to gank you by dropping it down); it's about the opportunity you get when the other team is fully immobilized so can pull out your AOE combos and your carry can go to town without getting disabled/killed.

Sure BKB make keep *you* alive, but that won't help if the rest of your team takes a dirt nap in the meanwhile.

Well I never said Blackhole was used for the damage rather I was just saying BKB will negate the damage, but I will say that early game it still does a pretty decent chunk of damage combined with a properly placed Midnight Pulse or w/e. Engima jungle is insanely strong for this very reason, level 6 he can pretty much secure a kill if his lane acts accordingly.

The passive effects(+dmg, atkspd, hpregen) work, but the added stats (the +agi, int or str) don't take effect until you die. Valve has said it will be hotfixed as soon as possible.

It seems it has been hotfixed already. Just watching Loda's stream he is getting the stats bonuses now. Must have happend in the last hour.
