Pilot was awesome, can't wait for more.

I brought up Boardwalk in my Business Law class (lolcontract law reference?) and it turns out every single person (out of 14) had watched and thought it was the shit. Haven't had that kind of response since the Sopranos. This is going to be a juggernaut of a show.
Yep, show is great gave me the wood. And I agree the name exchange between Capone and Jimmy was fantastic, as well as Jimmy's exchange with Nucky towards the end when he gave him his cut.
Very solid pilot, Marty's handiwork was all over that episode. Hope they can convince him to do another episode or got a disciple of his to direct so the cinemotagraphy won't noticeably decline after episode 1.
and lolz at the winkwinknudgenudge phone-booth conversation letting the audience know that it is in fact difficult to know who everyone is right off the bat. lotta potential with the broadness of the narrative.
fucking finally, Omar Little doing work next week.
tits everywhere
Damn, this show is awesome. Really starting to wonder what is going to happen with everyone next week.
This weeks episode was pretty solid.
Spoiler: show
Man this show is getting better and better with every episode. Loving the Al capone and Jimmy Storyline a lot.
so many characters and arcs to follow. i kept asking my friend "who's that again?" always about jimmy's mom interestingly enough
I'm loving what they are doing w/ Chalky. He's the polar opposite of Omar in terms of how he gets what he wants done, and yet equally as badass.
"I ain't buildin' no bookcase."
Boom. That scene was all sorts of fucking awesome.
Yeah that + hearing him curse around Nucky when Omar didn't do that has me sold on him joining Al Capone and Rothstein as the god-tier gangsters.
man was hoping Jimmy and Al would go Apeshit on the Irish mobsters that did that to Pearl.
Judging by preview for next week, thatll happen next week or week after.
edit: shit wouldve been quite poetic this week w/ the St Paddys Day but I can see why they omitted it, the scenes w/ Jimmy/Pearl were good.
