But like you said, the playcalling is bad and not helping anyone. They rarely let Jefferson throw on first down, and I remember one series where we had 2 runs go nowhere, then have Jefferson throw on 3rd and long. Uh, seriously? You know the guy isn't a good QB who can't have much confidence right now, and you expect him to convert? What a joke.

I wish I knew what the deal was with Michael Ford. He beasted in the spring game, and now he is behind true freshman Alfred Blue. I have inside information that Ford is kinda soft, but the kid is still a freak and could really do good things with 5-10 touches a game.

I'm going to laugh if Nevada and Fresno State are both ranked by the time they play Boise State, giving BSU 4 ranked opponents on their schedule this year. Both teams are in the 26-32 range in "receiving votes" category.

Wouldn't be shocking, really. Fresno and Nevada have both been fairly solid in the last few years (Fresno is usually pretty good - I think Pat Hill is a really good coach). MWC will still be strong next year with those 3 teams joining up.

Agree with you about both those teams building solid programs. But about Boise, those quality wins (if they do win those games) won't cancel out VaTech completely shitting the bed against James Madison. I'm guessing that will pretty much kill their computer rankings.

Yep, VA Tech needs to dominate the ACC (like steamroll to a conf championship) for that to be considered a quality win now.

I don't think we really deserve to crack the top 25 all because we barely beat a shitty ND team. Now, if we won our next 2 games including Wisconsin(lol) then I'd say we should be ranked.

I agree, but if you look at the bottom 5 of the AP top 25, it's pretty weak. Honestly if we played teams 20-24 all the games would be close.

K-State got votes for going 3-0 against the AMAZING opening schedule of UCLA, Missouri State, and Iowa State, the first 2 at home, the third at Arrowhead.
