strength of win matters just as much as it did 2 weeks ago (read: not at all), so I don't know why you continue to think people care. My old HS football team has beat their opponents by an average of 45. and were up 70-0 at halftime of a playoff game a week ago. It doesn't matter because they will not beat the best team in california, their only loss this season. It's about wins, not about points.

I'm making no such claim. I'm just wondering what the voters and computers will think if Auburn loses next week.

Plus Auburn has a pro on their team and will have this entire season vacated.

well apart from the scandal things, Auburn would just be a victim of a late season loss, when I 100% think they are better than every 1 loss team in the country even if they lose to the cocks. You don't beat all of those teams and not have a top 3 team in the country

I'm saying they beat bama, arkansas, lsu, etc. the SEC is a much better conference than the big 10, so a 1 loss team in the SEC is 90% a better team than a 1 loss team in the big 10

I think running up the score in college is pretty damn classless. many times you are playing simply inferior teams that are not playing to be pros but because they love the game. pretty shameful
