I'm kind of curious how this conclusion was come to. Is this something you can view with clever .DAT modding (similarly to how you could view Chocobo Digging skill)? Also is this a skill that is "skilled up", or does it update automatically each time you gain a level?

C skill would definitely explain why shitty EP or even TW mobs can reliably land enfeebles and things on a player though.

CHR has nothing to do with Magic Evasion.

They simply decided that Magic Evasion is aligned with Light, along with HP and CHR. Just like MP isn't related to Magic Accuracy. VIT isn't related to the trait "Physical Damage Taken -#%"

    This is stupid.

Also, there's never base attributes on a piece of armor that "does nothing at all." The actual benefit might be tiny, but wearing Rogue's Bonnet will help reduce elemental magic damage you take. I don't understand why everyone thinks that base attributes and stats/traits accompanied with it on any given piece of equipment MUST mean that they are somehow related and/or enhanced by the base attribute.

No, INT+5 does not help "Steal" because it's on Rogue's Bonnet, paired up with "Steal +1."

P.S. CHR increases resist rates to songs.

I dunno, this is obviously pure speculation, but when I leveled BRD and had stacked CHR I definitely noticed spells missing me more often. Most notably when I was leveling on Imps and the Deafening Tantura would silence me far less often than other party members. Just a thought..

Surely that has nothing to do with resists silence 4. Nope. Definitely not.

This is a poorly conceived topic with almost no evidence supporting it. People are justified being dismissive.

That said, pchan and the other MAcc tester found different inflection points for dINT. One said 10, the other said 15. It could be that one of them messed up, or it could be that it wasn't actually dINT (it would be Player INT - Monster something-else). We don't know enough about magic accuracy to dismiss this entirely, but even if we hammered this down the knowledge we'd gain would end up being essentially useless. If 1 Elemental Resistance = 1 Magic Evasion against that element, and 2 CHR = 1 Magic Evasion, how often do you get a slot where you can get twice as much CHR as Resistance? Not very freaking often.
