Can't figure out the bone harpoon head recipe. I've tried different combos of bone chips and femurs, some animal glue in there, but can't find it. Anyone know it? I'm assuming it's goldsmithing since bone harpoon butt is x1 bonechip.

I was actually thinking since it's actually a tabard and not only a simple robe then maybe you need to add something extra for the recipe, but I dunno what lol.

yeah hope oak logs go back to NPC somewhere.... I need to go do botanist, to find oak logs (that no one knows where it is yet) to level carpenter to make the oak chips for leather working... ;/

I'm not sure if there is any high carpenters out there, but does anyone know what the synth for Ash Axe Haft is? Last phase it was 1x ash lumber, but tried that and only got Ash Francessca(sp?) Haft.

Tried x2 and x3 lumber but nothing, wondering if it might be ash branches :X.

I don't know, but Franscessca is a type of Axe in FFXI.... not certain, but it might be a name change.

It's a throwing axe for MAR. Ash axe haft and elm axe haft are the 2 for the MH 2 handers.

Has anyone figured out any bow recipes yet? I know the thing lacking form the Maple Longbow is the Linen Bow String. I had a friend on Emperor try everything possible from the Flax plant to make the bow sting but to no avail. 4 Moko Grass make a Hempen Bow String, but 4 Flax don't make a Linen Bow String. I suggested everything from 1-8 Flax combined with Cotton Bolls, Moko Grass, Hempen Yarn, and Cotton Yarn. My theory thus far is they removed it or just added something to the recipe that doesn't really make sense. As for someone somewhere in this thread asking about Thurm weapons I seen someone making them but they were Japanese so I could get an answer out of him. I have how ever found recipes for Conj Weapons if this thread is interested.

Yeah, I tried every conceivable combination of Hempen Yarn/Cloth/Fent yesterday and couldn't figure it out. I'm guessing it's either not in due to some kind of data entry mistake, or takes some ingredient nobody has tried yet.

I'll try to make the Cotton version instead once I get a few more levels tonight.

yeah you goto skull valley and find one of the caves with fireflys in it, they spawn in groups of 3, and they don't always spawn, sometimes its a rat mole, sometimes spawns as a firefly, they are green balls of light and drop fire crystals.

Sitting on a ton of branches. The only problem is all the branch recipes need arrow fletchery key item and I never get Carpenter Guild Marks.. I'm lucky if I even see 2 carp leves per rollover.

That recipe is from phase 2, and keep in mind Bows need a bowyer key item now.
