I understand what you're saying and believe me - I agree that it's insensitive for them to do this (doubly so since they're doing it on 9/11) however the answer is not for them to build it somewhere else. The answer is for people to give them the chance to show that they have genuine reason to build a center there.

Second of all, you can't judge someone's intent simply because they haven't revealed it and you can't judge someone's mindset because they haven't denied it. That's an absolutely retarded way of going about things and is one of the principle problems with politics today.

Swampy's version of the 1st amendment: "Freedom of religion (unless we think your place of worship is a monument to victory, and we don't like what you have to say)" Last time I checked, even Muslims can say whatever the fuck they want.
