BG Auto: Tinting windows

2001 Buick Regal, silver.

I actually want the tint primarily for cooling purposes, not for aesthetics. Is there some kind of brand/store I should shop with over any other? About what % visibility or whatever other stat for tint should I aim for that will provide good shading and UV protection/cancer avoidance (I may or may not be serious about this part)? I'd prefer it to be national since although I'm at AZ right now, I could be anywhere else in the states months from now.

And although the aesthetics is not my main reason...what do you think would be a good look with a silver old people sedan?

Find out what's legal around you, that's probably the % you should go for (my friend has had a few tickets for his, its not pleasant)

Brands, donno Just keep in mind there's a limit, and in some(all?) states you can't do your front windows, or only to a lesser extent.

Make sure it's legal in whatever state you'll be in next. Otherwise, they'll make you tear that shit off and it leaves a mess on your windows.

Advance Auto and similar stores generally have a variety of tints and tools for doing it yourself. It's a bit on the cheap side but if you're not looking to have it done professionally, it may be your best option.
