Seriously, that robe makes me reconsider playing a Roe mage. Of course I'm expecting Glad armor to stop looking like Halloween costumes once a player reaches a higher level.

The vibe I'm getting from this game is that SE is just remaking FFXI with better graphics

This. Tons of reused mobs, same names, and beefed up graphics.

SE has been "re-using" mobs/race since the original final fantasy on NES. Just with different names sometimes (in regards to races). You're always going to find tonberry, malboro, imps, behemoths, wyverns, etc. in a Final Fantasy game.

The only mobs I can think of that came directly from FF:XI was Goobbue and Qiqirn that I've seen SSs of in FF:XIV. But then again, those are cute mobs so I'm glad they are coming back!

Thats what happens when you use AA and shrink the screenshots to half their size. He didnt do anything special.

I don't see much difference at all between the 3. Granted the camera is moving upwards and the background and lighting change also. Can tell a slight difference.

Watch the jaggedness of the hair and shoulders smooth out as it flips through those. The shoulders shows it well. Also, the collar.

Haha, I literally just died from the same exact thing. I was looking at it and all of sudden it turned its head to the left, then right, opened its mouth, waited 2 seconds, then BAM sucked me right in. I almost jumped out of my chair!!
