I can almost 100% guarantee that surplus has nothing to do with the level of your weapon. If it did, my skill would not go back to normal and stop getting the surplus by switching to another class or crafting. At my level using a level 1 weapon, I would keep the surplus, but I'm able to change class to stop grinding on the surplus class, go do something else for awhile, then come back and the surplus is gone for awhile. I would continue getting surplus and gimped skill if it was based on the level of your weapon. But like I said, try it out yourself.

Does this version have any sort of Japanese IME support? Or better yet, has S-E commented on the possibility of it being in the final version of the game (NA version)?

They want to make money so therefore they'll fix this game to be at least mildly attractive to the mainstream. Also people have been QQing since day one. Set the bar at better than "Age of Conan" and it's smoothing sailing till release.

Oh, shards aren't the problem. I have hundreds. Going to Lv15 lancer, killing a lot of fireflies has got me 7 fire crystals. Everyone is having this problem, so I doubt they're dropping a ton for only you. Crystals in general aren't dropping a lot. I have 999 earth shards and 11 earth crystals.

Hopeless? No, the game has a ton of potential. People are bitching because the Beta is having so many dumbshit problems. Retail won't have all this shit, SE isn't that gimp.

I never said tons. Just is I haven't noticed much of a difference from p2 when it comes to crystals and it's definitely more than 7 that I've gotten so far.

I promise you there is a huge difference, in phase 2 I was never under 100 fire crystals and that was with 20 smithing.

If it's an anti RMT mechanic then it's a horrible horrible plan.. as it sounds more and more like it is (also since gathering professions see decreased results over time). It's gonna hurt the players more then anything. You can't stop RMT from farming / grinding this way w/o hurting the player base even more.

If i want to lv conj to 30 I shouldn't need to switch to another job because of an xp fatigue system. That's forcing ppl to do what they don't want to in order to lv what they want to. makes no sense

This was the response I was looking for tho it lacked the amount of fanboyism I've come to appreciate. The instant WOW analogy was expected yet it lacked umph like "f@#$ you WOWTARD you can't have my special flower ;-;". A longer justification of shortcomings would have been welcomed.
