Seems like the window between him telling him to put the knife/knives down and the shots was incredibly short. Hadn't heard about this.

No question, the cop is in the wrong here. I just have trouble feeling bad for anyone that gets shot carrying around an exposed weapon (or any weapon for the matter). I've never thought to myself, "you know what I forgot to bring with me today, a giant fucking knife." In the guys defense tho he is an artist that's known for carving. Either way, keep your knife out of the sight on the streets.

Size of a weapon, should not matter.

I know nothing about the video, or its background so not gonna comment on the actual situation. Just had to chime in about the knife not even being that big.... it could still kill.

Just actually closely looked at the picture. The knife that "isn't that big" is actually under the legal limit..... so, yea.
