Yeah I learned how to drive stick on my BMW so I went through it right quick. Second one lasted me long enough though.

Inferior? By no means. Equal competitors? Sure. The new CTS, for example, isn't necessarily better than a 3 series, but it's not any worse. Just as good, just as reliable, just as nice, built to a different taste.

I don't think domestic brands are inherently better than imports, but to dismiss them for ideas and bitching that was legitimate 20 years ago is utterly retarded.
