If you watch the whole credits sequence, they have video footage from recording a slightly different version of that song with Booker's VA playing guitar and singing as well. I thought that was neat.

I absolutely love this game. Stayed up late to beat it last night because I became so engrossed in the story closer to the end, I didn't want to stop. D:

Read through the ending explanation, and only one thing has me puzzled...

Who was Songbird? You find one voxphone next to a design schematic of him saying how he looked into a tear and found out how to merge man and machine. I know this is a nod to Bioshock and he was talking about a Big Daddy, but I thought they'd delve into who was used. Initially it would be her mother. Then as I got further into the story I thought it'd be another DeWitt. After seeing the ending though, I am confounded.

Just marathoned the game today as soon as I got home from work, and I must say I am ready to suck Ken Levine's dick. This game was absolutely amazing.

One question though, does anyone know if replaying chapters will help with moping up some of the collectible achievements? (like the Voxophones, Infusions, weapons and so forth)

Man, 1999 mode is crazy. I'm learning to really love charging up Devils Kiss and just make everything explode. I'm also doing the no buying anything from Dollar Bill trophy so using Vigors all the time is kind of needed.

Elizabeth was an amazing NPC, was constantly amazed at what a good job they did with her.

After reading a good explanation of the ending I had a sad about her.

The fact that she ceases to exist since Comstock is killed so her life as it had been was erased.

After skimming through the thread trying not to read anything major, it looks like this game is absolutely fantastic.

Gonna be picking this up, but not sure if I want to on my PC or PS3. Didn't play the other games either but will probably wiki/youtube them.

Anyone have a platform preference?

As long as you have a rig that can handle it, play it on PC. The combat is so much better on PC than on console, and the consoles have some framerate issues.

This game is not graphically demanding at all on ultra. Having no issues with a i5 2500k and a 660ti. Both run cool to the point where I can't hear my fans at all.


For comparison, the Witcher 2 on V High sounds like a mulcher eating a Brick

Thanks, exactly the information I was looking for. 98% of the time I purchase things on PC over console since I play at 1600p and it absolutely blows consoles away, but there are those few games that either play better with a controller or have minor, weird issues (batman you fuck).

Third person games always play better with a controller in my experience, as well as vehicle controls. First person is all kbm tho

I was super pumped after reading this thread so I picked it up from redbox and beat it on normal in like 10 hours? 3 days for 6 bucks, can't beat that. I loved the story. I'll most likely pick up the retail copy if the DLC is worth it, and the price is right.

I feel like the game is my CPU intensive than GPU. I get semi frequent pauses and skips with a [email protected] ghz and a Hd6850.

Can I just say that Lady Comstock on 1999 while trying not to use Dollar Bill can go fuck herself. That has to have been the hardest part of the game. Fighting her all those times took many tries and lots of luck.
