I didn't realize that this strat might be a possiblity, but has anyone tried multi-grabbing enemies with the Water move, and then pushing them off the ship on the final boss? I was pulling multiple enemies at once with that Pull move (even Patriots), so I could beat them down with rockets. After the fight was over, I was thinking..."I wonder if I could have pulled near the edge...and pushed them off?" (Cheap tactic if it works, I know). Anyone care to give it a shot?

    Spoiler: show
I dont know about pulling the patriots and pushing them off. But the strat i used basically had me rocketing pats while shoving anything off the upper ledges I could. Never thought of pulling the pats up and then shoving them off. It would have to be a well positioned pull though cause it can be tricky at best shoving the normal mobs off the side.

I basically shoved everything I could off from down below and then used the song bird on the ground between zeppellins and only killing the barge that had a rocketlauncher, the rest just drop off mobs and its worthless to songbird them.

woo got my Platinum trophy just before Game of Thrones came on.
Yay Platinum #30. Been a few months since I got any new ones. Games kept coming out. Persona 4> Dead Space> Revengeance> Tomb Raider> Bioshock> Dragon's Dogma.
After beating Dragon's Dogma I'll probably try the Platinum for it again then try for Revengeance then Dead Space then Persona. Fuck Tomb Raider Platinum and their retarded annoying multiplayer trophies.

there's a few nods and winks but nothing of terrible significance, Infinite stands on its own perfectly well.

that said the original Bioshock is one of the greatest games ever made and while its gameplay is undoubtedly weaker its narrative + atmosphere + storytelling remain Infinite's equals.

as to Rand, thematically Bioshock is a sustained critique of the self-righteousness of philosophical certainty and the ethical principles of objectivism. the fundamental tragedy of Rapture is that it is a dying city torn apart by the intractable fanaticism of its founder, namely the egoist imperative of living life entirely for one's own self-interest and under no circumstances compromising that self-interest on behalf of others.

Bioshock is not some kind of libertarian wet dream, the game's most prominent dialectic argues forcefully and repeatedly that Rand is a jerkface and depicts her utopia as a nightmare

I disagree about not having to play bioshock 1, but I can't say any more then that. By the end of infinite you'll have many questions though, and playing (don't even have to finish) Bioshock helps to answer some.

Just finished getting the Platinum. Used the strategy from the vid I posted and finished the final fight on my first try with 0 deaths Honestly.... this is probably my favorite game of this generation.

vigors is w/e you feel comfortable with, lots of ppl say their favorite was murder of crows + devils kiss combo, I used the shield and ram charge for most part. Stats I found shield was the most beneficial one since it auto recharges unlike hp.

First playthrough I used Shock Jockey + Devils Kiss. 1999 mode I used Possession + Charge. For infusions I capped shield then alternated between health + salts.

Upgrade shield and salts first evenly and then health last like said above. For upgrades I'd do Possession, Devil's Kiss, Murder of Crows and Charge for Vigors and Carbine, Sniper Rifle, RPG and Shotgun for weapons. Hard isn't really that hard though, so just upgrade what you find enjoyable imo.

Would I be able to play/understand this without having played the other 2? I have a big gaming backlog and it's a much easier sell for me to fit in one awesome game than it is to sit through 2 games so i can play a 3rd.

I never played the other games and completely understood Infinite. There are easter eggs that you will only get if you played the other two games, but thats about it. Like each game started at a lighthouse, always a red chair. Small things like that

This. But I want to stress that if you play Bioshock, you won't feel like you're being forced to sit through it. It is an amazing game in its right, even though its five years old. I certainly thought of it as the best of the trilogy.

2K and Irrational Games announced today that BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds, the first downloadable content pack for the best-selling multiplatform video game of 2013 to date, BioShock Infinite, is available for download worldwide starting today on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.

BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds, developed by Irrational Games, is an action-focused downloadable content pack that presents players with a series of unique, intense challenges and a whole new gambit of combat opportunities. Players will combine a diverse toolset of weapons, Vigors, gear, Tears and Sky-Lines in four new areas inspired by the classic BioShock Infinite environments. In addition, by completing all 60 Blue Ribbon challenges, players will unlock exclusives in the Columbian Archeological Society, gaining access to new Voxophones, Kinetoscopes, concept art and more.

BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds is available starting today for $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live for Xbox 360 via online marketplaces on all available platforms, and is included in the BioShock Infinite Season Pass.

Also in development at Irrational Games, BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea is a two-part add-on campaign featuring an all-new story for Booker and Elizabeth, set in the underwater city of Rapture before its fall. These two campaigns will be available individually for $15.00 or 1200 Microsoft Points, and are also included as part of the BioShock Infinite Season Pass.

"We are really excited to offer our fans the content that they have been asking for," said Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games. "With Clash in the Clouds, people get a pure action experience that takes BioShock Infinite combat to its highest challenge and intensity level. With the Burial at Sea episodes, we are building a Rapture-based narrative experience that is almost entirely built from scratch."

The BioShock Infinite Season Pass is available now for $19.99 or 1600 Microsoft Points and includes all three pieces of add-on content, as well as the Early Bird Special Pack, which includes powerful weapon upgrades, exclusive gold weapon skins and infusion bottles to upgrade abilities.
