Because the story of Bioshock 1 makes so much sense when taken almost entirely out of context, guys!
Yeah, I was going to say, if you just read the story to the first Bioshock, you would be like, wtf is this shit? lol
Seriously. I haven't been this hyped for a single player shooter in a long, long, time.
This is the only FPS I'm hyped for
Russian site has the ending in screenshots. Like I said before...come 'on man.

Eh, id rather just play the game since looking at screen shots of the ending takes it totally out of context.
Not defending it, since I'm not going to look at it, but what game/book/show/movie have you ever heard of where the ending makes any kind of connection with a person when they have no prior real experience with that thing?
I can probably tell you the ending to just about every series in existence and you'd go, "Wtf really?" in some way. Again, not defending Infinite since I have 0 experience with it thus far, but it's really silly to be upset about the ending when you have 0 emotional connection to the characters involved.
That's kinda what happens when you leap ahead and spoil yourself. Nice one.
Well, IGN review is up and it got a 9.4
Really? You can't just say "it was nowhere near as good as the original Bioshock" or anything like that? You don't have to use spoilers..
It was a solid review, they were being very honest about the PC/console differences. I still want this very bad, I am hoping Amazon doesn't sell out of Premium PC editions by this Saturday.
Yes, you've seen the ending. There is a world of differences between "seeing" an ending and "experiencing" it. You could also see the end to the original Bioshock and go, "Wtf, really?"
Edit: To try and have a bit more substance. There is a such thing as emotional attachment to both the story and the characters. An ending may not make sense, or may seem entirely underwhelming, until you've gotten attached to the things that the ending is finishing. Endings are rarely the most memorable things about a book/movie/game as it is.

That preorder bonus.
lol, game gets a good review? clearly it was paid for!
Looked at all the preorder deals and ended up going with Amazon. The flat $30 credit works out nicely considering I have most of the other games offered by other sites.
Did you also call shenanigans on the original Bioshock getting amazing scores?
Scores aside, again the reviewer was at least honest enough to admit the console versions are not on the same level. Considering all the customization you can do with the graphic options, the switching guns and powers on the fly without having to slow down the action, frame rate being buttery smooth.
