That game left a bad taste in my mouth.
Game 1 looked to be cool with TLO getiing 250mm strike cannons, but it was just so ordinary... both made armies, attacked, and the game was over after that. No small skirmishes, no epic harass(although there were drops, but they were boring), it was like a damn gold-platinum game I was watching.
I don't know.. I like TLO and I was pulling for him but he hasn't wowed me with anything but his ladder/showmatch stuff. Like that recent zerg game he had against Nestea(I think is his name?), that shit rocked.
I like games that last a while; TLO usually delivers so I think it's that damn real foreigner's fault for those games sucking!
The thing about TLO is he said himself that he makes up builds during tournaments and then practices them, so he probably had never even practiced something like the new strike cannons. Because of that he will of course have some games that he just straight out loses... The thor rush itself wasn't skillful but I don't think he scouted the Shrine and still had 3 scans saved which is at least something impressive.

The only match worth watching from Blizzcon is Boxer vs Fruit Dealer. The rest is just meh.

For TLO, he relied on his gimmick strategy against a really strong opponent. I dont know why he didnt build tank on the first game. It is just mind-fucking.

The last game is just fail scouting.

If you are talking about the first round, TLO vs Sen should be very interesting but the rest kind of dull. If you are talking about possible matches later on...Huk vs Loner would be amazing. Fenix vs White-ra, any match in upperbracket 4 would be nice. Maka vs Dimaga could be nice, haven't seen much of Dimaga lately though.
Like I said TLO was probably just trying a new build from a new patch that he probably hasn't even got to play on much. That is what makes TLO games so interesting, he does crazy shit and sometimes it just doesn't work and everyone crys but when it does he gets so many praises.

That first TLO vs Sangho game shouldn't have looked as one sided as it did IMO. If TLO had not engaged that deciding battle single file like that and had had the micro to stim + Viking micro + 250mm simultaneously, I think he would not have done has poorly as he did.

Looking forward to watching all of those Blizzcon games. In person

poltprime vs terious is by far the WORST and most laughable tournament level game play i've ever seen.

TLO lost ogls season 2 because he ran his thors in first vs 5 immortals and didn't ball up. his first 3 thors basically got 1shot'd

I'm sure fake boxer was just nervous or something, he's clearly better than his Ro64 outing showed. He was #1 on the Korean ladder afterall.

Yeah the dude was shaking uncontrollably just during the Interview, I can only imagine how nervous he was playing. The players who played SC1 on the main stage have a huge advantage in a tournament like this.

EDIT: God damnit Lyn and Clide are out. What's with the upsets, no Tester, no Top, no Cella, Clide and Lyn out early, hopefully Nada makes it through.

idra commentating today was pretty cool but when jason started talking about villains in starcraft 2 i fucking lol'd cause he was unknowingly trolling the shit out of IdrA and you could clearly see it in IdrA's face.

I think IdrA got in on the very last one for the set, Tastetosis did 4 then IdrA the 5th, and IdrA should be doing them until they are back from Blizzcon.

Fake-boxer didn't play apple. He played BabyWerra and those games were fucking mind-boggling.

Apple did ok imo for being a reporter in the GSL vs PhoenixWeRRa(made for a really cool backstory on the guy). His only downfall was overstimming; I think strategy-wise he did fine seeing as how he's friends with fruitdealer and had the best zerg in the world as his practice partner vs a zerg in RO64.

BabyWeRRa though omfg. He tried baneling busting like FOUR times on metalopolis and was denied harder each time.

I didn't watch poltprime vs terious, how were their games worse?

The biggest problem with the casters is they have real problems spotting the important things going on on the map.
