The IdrA thing is actually a bit messed up. They banned him midway through a tournament because he was bad-mouthing people in previous tournaments. The ban occurred at the same time that they screwed up match reporting, so it's likely they're trying to cover that up.

Yeah, he's a huge dick, but ESL handled this ridiculously unprofessionally, once again proving that "E-Sports" in the US is still being managed by a bunch of fat anti-social neckbears and 15 year old kids.

Yeah, this is what I gathered from reading the thread also.

Also, his manners should have nothing to do with anything Ramor. Just like you think him being good shouldn't excuse him from being called a douche, so too should his choice of expression not be used as an excuse to treat him unjustly in what is supposed to be a fair, organized, and 'official' sporting event.

Yeah I hate IdrA as much as the next person, but banning him in this case was really stupid. Like him or not he actually is a very good player despite his bitching.

IdrA 3-0 in a group where he had to fight 2 terrans at IEM Gamescom Germany. I'm sure he'll comment on how they were both shitty europeans at a later date when defending his stance that zerg is underpowered.

drewbie was ahead all game, but after every defensive miracle it looked like socke had a way back into the game. If he could have had a better defense to those banshees and/or was able to incorporate some storm drops/warpins (he had the amulet upgrade very early and it would have been very effective on lost temple), I'm certain he would have won that game. Great game either way though.

Well the stream is still free in Korean but yeah it sucks that the English commentary is going to be charged. At least they are doing English commentary though, and I'm sure the vod's will show up on youtube later.

GOM caved a little bit and will be offering a free stream at 250kbps. That might be watchable, however; it is lower quality than standard quality youtube. GOM doesn't have much bandwidth to the world outside of Korea. If the interest in this tournament is bigger than the interest in the Intel/Avertec Classic S2/S3 finals, and I think it is, expect the streams to get overloaded and die.
