First random to ever qualify and MAYBE 3 good toss in the entire line up. Look for the zerg to win big again with both FruitDealer and Nestea in there along with Check, Idra, Jook, Moon... jesus zerg looks unbeatable, but both Boxer and Foxer are back for more, will be epic to say the least. Also look for Team Liquid in this, sporting 3 members this season, support the foreigners!

Gonna be one hell of a season... although...

Aya beating huk sucks, but I'd rather watch Tester/Sang-ho's games than Huk's in GSL3. Also, at least we can all laugh at aya's ugly ass face when he's in the booth.

Also, oGsTOP should be a bolded guy in that list, too. He's like #2 on KR ladder, has all-killed TSL(FD, Tester, Clide) before, and is one of oGs's better players.

wow Huk, Kiwi, Loner, and Nada didn't make it in? GSL has such terrible qualifiers.
Protoss look terrible (I seriously wonder why protoss don't do well in the GSL), zergs look really good, but counting the terrans out would be a mistake with Foxer, Boxer, and Jinro. Foxer could be fucked if people spent some time working on countering his only strategy but Jinro has already revolutionized how TvP works so he is quite a good player.

The ones I bolded were just the ones I found particularly interesting myself. TOP is good and held his own against FD in season 1, but back to back failures to qualify turned me off a bit on him.

I understand you, though. I'm not too big on the over-hyped players who are high on ladder/tastosis say are good/etc until I see them play myself. Tester, I think, plays pretty well though ._.

Also, Foxer is still going to be BoxeR. Something about the best Prime player will be OptimusPrime and he hasn't proven himself yet.

Im honestly not big on Foxer's style. Its ridiculously well-timed and requires only his level of micro, but come on, one-trick-pony much?

Every single game of Foxer's had some type of marine timing push in it with SCVs. Seriously, game 7 and ur pushing the same stupid ass cheese you've shown him 6 times before? All he had to do was push zerglings out of both hatches and he overpowered the production capacity of the 2 racks. Its a great timing push for a first game win, and maybe even if the other player isnt good enough to respond quickly you'll take em all, but Nestea is no slouch zerg. After the first 4 games I was bored out of my mind with the finals.

yea the gsl season 2 finals were way boring. none-the-less though even if foxer is boring he's still an outstanding player.

I think he played that way because Nestea is a very defensive zerg, whereas Kyrix and Cool are much more aggressive. In those games he played more straight up without the SCV support for the most part. I just think he wasn't confident in his ability to beat Nestea in a straight up macro game.

Well honestly the pure marine style Foxer does is quite amazing and revolutionary, the problem is that he doesn't do anything else. No way can a player use 1 strategy for very long without getting stomped. Also I'm sad incontrol didn't get in just because having a giant white headcrusher in the booth against a skinny asian nerd would be hilarious.

Man, I really hope they spread the protoss out in the brackets so that they don't eliminate each other. I wanna see one of Iron, HongUn, or Genius make it to the RO4. Tester would have been awesome :\ or SangHo's heavy macro games opening with pure sentries.
