Some one post this asap when it hits vod PLEASE
This is MLG. You're not going to be able to get the vods/replays.
I fucking love idra though lol. "Fuck off" made me seriously lol. It lost some of its magic when I found out the win wouldn't mean much to idra anyway since he placed 2nd in the group and wouldn't have gotten 1st for a 2-0 win anyway.
Also, is it because huk(and other programmers too) are so busy with the game that they type like retards? What the fuck is "you werent loss". I don't spend THAT much time on my computer and typing words I use so often, like "you", and contractions with apostrophes are as second nature to me as worker splitting is for them. Man, I don't even know why I hate huk so much, but I do.
T'was a joke@ all the fuck-ups today and yesterday regarding the stream/matches/etc
I'm not the biggest fan of HUK myself haha but that made me laugh so hard
I like HuK because some of the stuff he says is so embarrassing, and he doesn't even seem to realize it. I can very clearly picture him looking back at some of this stuff in ~5 years and epic face-palming.
I don't really see much of him these days, and what I do see never seems to be anything special. It feels like he hasn't been able to keep up with the skill curve since Beta, especially considering his lack of tourney results lately. Of course, I think we're gonna see that a lot in years to come.
I think a lot of that has to do with Flavor-of-the-Month builds rising and falling. I'm quickly coming around to the school of thought that consistent results are more important for determining player skill than a championship win. Placing high but not winning several major tournaments counts for more than muscling out one major win and then getting knocked in the early rounds for half a dozen tournaments after that. Just remember Fruitdealer. MVP might be the next one of these, but it hasn't been long enough to say for sure yet.
I think I started to dislike huk when he said, multiple times now, during question-time on his stream that, "if I wasn't playing starcraft.. I'd be in dead or in jail". Then the good ol' "I'd whoop Idra's ass in a real fight". Like he thinks he's some hardcore badass? >.>
Anyhow, so far MLG's been extremely lackluster. Coolest game imo so far was select vs incontrol(not going to spoil so I'll just say one of them absolutely dominated the other in game 2). I hope to see some screencap worthy idra BM vs huk so long as he makes it past ret.
I stand by consistent results > tournament wins. In competitions like SC2 it's very possible for anyone to take anyone else out in a BO3. Gotta play 100-1000 games if you want to see who's "better". Tournies aren't really about the better player, though![]()
I was at MLG and the games on main stage sucked and they even stopped doing main stage for a good while. Slush, for example, had a game against a Terran, forgot who where he literally was not injecting his hatcheries and only producing via like 9 hatcheries and he won. It was sick. The resources were being exhausted and he still had his gold to mine too so he had an advantage as the game went on. There were so many good games that just didn't make it to the live stream, especially stuff in the open bracket and pool play.
IdrA v HuK games: http://s3.majorleaguegaming.com/140-22322.html
HuK talking is like against the rules too, he should have been dq'd but I guess since it's HuK and he queues heart shaped move commands he's allowed to be an asshole. Being there in person you could see the favoritism, the crowd behind HuK was fucking huge and there were maybe like 10 of us on the other side watching behind IdrA.
MC sweating fucking BULLETS after game 4.

I don't like the guy just cause he comes off as an arrogant loser. Skills aside, I don't want him to win just because he is such a horrible sport. Put his attitude in any major sports league and you'd get the exact same thing, some people like him for his skills, most hate him cause of his poor sportsmanship.
I'm the opposite. I like Idra because of his BM, tell it as it is attitude. His skills obviously are good too, his major flaw is that he does the same thing every game(which is macro up) and everyone knows this and exploits it(4 gates, rax rush etc). Lately he's been playing more aggressively which i suppose is working to his advantage. But yeah he's a pretty cool guy and causes lots of butthurt.
I see what Idra does/says and feel like he does it because he wants to. I look at what huk does/says and feel like he does it because other people want to see it. He's just a big wanna-be poser in my eyes, and I don't really like that.
What he does/says is never even entertaining, while Idra makes people famous because of his attitude. Don't tell me you(anyone who dislikes Idra) doesn't want to see him "BM" someone in a serious tournament or otherwise. And at the same time, would you really want to see huk rush a mothership? Huk has more fans for the same reason Husky has more followers/viewers than day9 or something.
I usually see IdrA rage because of stupid cheese though, and honestly I don't think it's BM at that point. If you ever play random games you can see these types of stupid strategies have a tremendous negative effect on the community, especially when coupled with the "Don't tell me how to play/You're a big meanie-head"
Plus I really couldn't give a crap about his sportsmanship or that of other athletes no matter the league/game. I want the best player to win, that's what competition is about. Who cares if they are a dick, if they are better they are better.
