Day9 seems awkward casting this for some reason, all stiff and serious lol.

Seems fine to me, pretty exciting games between lastshadow and idra just finished. Day9 sounded normal, it was just strange seeing the button up shirt under blazer as opposed to the t-shirt look we usually see.

Day[9] + djWheat casting is amazing. JP is awesome, but he has some work ahead of him to get to djWheat's level of casting. They seem pretty close as far as knowledge of the game, but djWheat doesn't hesitate to defer to Day[9] when he doesn't understand what's going on.

Day[9] + djWheat casting is amazing. JP is awesome, but he has some work ahead of him to get to djWheat's level of casting. They seem pretty close as far as knowledge of the game, but djWheat doesn't hesitate to defer to Day[9] when he doesn't understand what's going on.

Djwheat is an absolute expert at what he does. I'd doubt there is anyone else more experienced and professional at jumping in and casting like he did.

I must say though, JP is impressing the hell out of me here. He doesn't have the analytical abilities of Day9, but he's very articulate when he explains what's happening on the screen, and very little escapes his attention. So long as he lets Day9 take over for the really in-depth analysis, they make a fantastic team.

idrA is pretty impressive now, but I would have to say the Kiwi vs White-ra game 1 was just so god damn epic. I have no clue how Kiwi actually won that...

Such anger. Cheesing sucks on the ladder where you're trying to get better and it doesn't really help you in any way, but in a tourney all's fair. You play to win. Besides he really only semi cheesed in one game. Not sure why he didn't just put the rax in his base, not like IdrA wasn't going to immediately find those as soon as he scouted the base anyway. In any case it was great defense by IdrA as expected but Last Shadow gave him a run for his money.

EDIT: Holy Shit Kiwi actually won game 1? I left like half way through when he had just failed a killing the Nexus and looked like he was fucked because he had pretty much no army and no workers. I'm going to have to watch that replay.

He put a pylon so the field overlapped into Whitera's base and then hallucinated a phoenix to get vision. Warped in 3 DTs and finished the Nexus off. Yeah Kiwi only won that through micro though, White had a decent unit lead but somehow Kiwi took out all of his Stalkers and then just kited the zealots for the win.

Wow IdrA so manner. WTF is going on it's like the twilight zone. He even said Huk is a good player.

On a more serious note it's nice to see IdrA growing up. He was just as bad in Brood War as he was in Beta, but in the last couple months he's really changed. He's been especially good on things like State of the Game where he makes some of the best observations and doesn't whine constantly during it like Artosis tends to.

IdrA is always well mannered the only time he isn't is on the forums and in random ladder games usually. He has a bad rep for stuff he's done to people in the past.

HuK v IdrA is going to be effing epic but I feel like unless HuK changes his style and harasses early it's going to be fairly IdrA favored. The only reason Kiwikaki did well was due to the aggressiveness, I don't think a macro game against IdrA, like HuK might gear up to do, is the best idea.

Thats good for Idra really, He's such an awesome player, and to start growing up with it too. I think it'll make him a better player too, he'll adapt to all strategys
