You can get a floor with 5 lamps with only 3 people? That's like, unpossible. Or incredibly rare. I've done a fair share of climbs (pre-cap increase) with 2BLUs and a RDM and not once have I gotten a floor with more than 3 lamps. On that note, I've never gotten a floor with less than 3 unless it was a register.

My general thought toward the whole situation is that you need 3 people who aren't retarded/gimp to do it that way. It's rather unlikely to have this arranged unless you're with 2 people you know and trust. I don't have anyone like that. I play alone every fucking day. Just about every "group" I ever get into feels unworthy of my time.

Cure potency caps at 50%. You'd be much better off using a medicine ring, since it'd free up a lot of slots for -enmity.

Actually in 2010 rarely if ever are you better off using a medicine ring. You also have no idea what the augments on the selenian or the pants are... (hint: there may be some -ENM). Or whether I have merits.

This is my worst case scenario in terms of -ENM and that's for a max epeen Cure V only. It's borderline for sure but my other cure sets add in troopers/staff strap for another -6 and if I really need it then I stick on up to -40 or so? Surprisingly, I gear appropriately for the situation. In my screenshot, I'm demonstrating that I can hit cap - hence me wearing 50% Cure potency. I'll wait for the next update before reorganising my gear. I'm hoping they push Surya's staff to 20% and I can rearrange. Also looking at pairing Augur's with my Marduk feet, once Augur's drop.

The fact of the matter is, you can stick less -ENM in your ring slot than you can in the combination of other slots that you'd be freeing up. Additionally, you won't have to waste your augments on silly fluff like cure potency.

Showing off a setup missing a vital item makes you look like a gimp tool, period. The only reason I can think of not to use a medicine ring is inability to stand out of AoE.. you do realize there is quite a bit of potential use for those augments besides cure potency, right?
