It depend of the map, but it's rarely a huge gamble since they need to find it first, which rarely happen during a zealot push. I would say the expand itself go unoticed 80-90% of the time, if not more. I'm sure it wouldnt be worth the risk in a high caliber league, but I really havent seen anything like this on bnet yet.

And like I said earlier, it often open an opportunity for a strike since his slow zealot army has to cover a lot more ground if they want to harass both expand and main. The main itself is easy to defend, and if he decide to actually push his way to the expand, most players leave themselves open for a huge hit (12 speedling in probe happens so fast, and put them out of the game).
